Hooters

Kinda a dumpy overpriced place now. Waited 10 minutes before being seated, one waitress who was clearly overweight, no offense. I remember 5 years ago you could go into a hooters and you would be welcomed by a smoking hot waitress whom was personable, and polite... even a little flirty. The culture has clearly changed. A bunch of overweight dudes ogling at overweight women. Hooters definitely lowered their standards. Clearly.

We had to leave because no one came to give us drinks or say hi after sitting for 20 minutes. The sign said use the mall doors but the mall was closed. One of the waitresses passed us by and literally sat and ate with a guy at the table next to us. This is why every hooters restaurant is closing. Be a divorced man over 60 if you want fast service here other wise you will not be acknowledged even if there are more waitresses than guest parties.

My husband I went for lunch had to wait 30 minutes to get our order taken. I ordered sausage & shrimp gumbo..no shrimp or sausage and cold. My husband ordered the sliders which came cold, told the waitress she rolled her eyes and walked away! Horrible place!!!

I visited the Citadel location last night (11-1-24) at 8:30 pm. I sat myself at a 4 top in the bar, not 6 feet from the bar. I sat there for 20 minutes without one Hooters server, bartender or manager addressing me. The bartender clearly seen me but wouldn’t make eye contact. A server was seated at a high top table with her back to me. I watched her several times get up on walk around but never addressing me. Place maybe had 12 customers plus myself. Times are tough for corporate restaurants; it seems every customer should count. There’s plenty wing restaurants in town to choose from. I ended up at BWW where I was promptly served and cashed out of my $57 tab promptly. Sad

The ambiance was warm and inviting with modern decor, and our server was incredibly attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was fresh and flavorful, though a bit on the pricey side. The variety on the menu was impressive, with plenty of options for different dietary needs. Overall, a great experience, and I would recommend it for a special time
