Big portions, friendly staff, good food! I ordered take out, but the front area was spotless and I would definitely return to dine in.

I absolutely recommend this place to dine at. The food is made by request and not sitting on a hot plate or anything like that, it's fresh. But the decorations on the inside? Oh it's absolutely something to love. As a first time guest, I want to say I appreciate the family photos. It feels like they are sharing family and culture with us and it's just an honor to be had. Finally, you are treated like a guest. I know some places are a bit less than that, but the folks at the counter were very kind. Take your time and enjoy things here OR you can order take out too. But either Way, you will have a good time.

This place is filthy, it even stinks when you walk in. The guy with the bad teeth at the front counter has a very nasty attitude. The Yakatori is full of fat and even had some bone chunks in it. Avoid this place at all costs. Go to the one up on Briargate it’s clean, has great service and delicious food.
Great staff and overall experience. Food was very fast and yummy but a little overcooked. Next time I will order from the dinner menu because lunch portions were a bit small for me.

Yakitori is delicious food! Very very reasonable price! I joke with my wife about having a Yak attack. I recommend people to try this hidden gem of a restaurant.

Love Yakatori, but this was different. The onion rings where not the flake kind and the sauce was different!! And the dressing on the salad was also different!! We ordered frim the dinner menu cause we like the left overs! But my husband felt the he got the lunch portion size, not much leftovers. And we where told that they where running out of the yakatori dipping sauce!!! We used to go to the place on Academy, but it is gone!! Anyone know if it opened in a different location or is it just Gone???

Please please bring the original onion rings back . Other than that it's pretty similar to the other location that closed

Went with my friends to this favorite Yakitori restaurant and they loved it. Got my senior Yakitori plate and as usual it was delicious. This time I did not forget to get a picture of it.

It was alright but not really Japanese but American Japanese. Odd to have an onion ring with my meal, no tofu in my miso soup and the teriyaki sauce on top of my rice. It was decent and didn’t feel clean inside.
