The food was awful to be completely honest! The rice was so hard I chipped a tooth and the steak was inedible. My toddlers that eat anything, wouldn't even swallow this mess. The only positive was that the workers couldn't have been nicer!

Big parking lot in the back of the restaurant is a big plus!
Happy hours between 3-9 is another plus!
Food was delicious, Fish is freshly fried upon placing an order.
The only place where they lost a star is when we ordered a bowl, there wasn't enough beans in the container. The lady instead of refilling, served whatever was left. That was slightly disappointing.
Definitely recommend them.

This is one of the best restaurants downtown Colorado Springs. You always get a lot of high quality healthy food for a great price. Their location has great views for watching people and the mountains. Highly recommend to come check out Illegal Pete's! Healthcare workers get buy one get one free on Tuesdays and Military does on Mondays! Let's keep them busy Colorado springs!

Someone give Alan a raise!! This man is always on top of it floating to the bar to the front, making food and serving drinks. He remembers us every time we come in and he always has the best attitude even when it’s slammed. This is for the owners, have a designated bartender. People like Alan deserve a bit of break, it is soo hard floating between those two positions. And I know you have an employee that will do it without complaining but this dude works hard. And I KNOW you aren’t paying him what he deserves (while the owners are obviously going on trips to aspen) That’s it. This whole place functions because of this one dude. Tip him well!!

The food was quality was good, but my taco shels we're on the edge of staleness. The staff was very polite and nice, but they had us wait 10 minutes or so during lunch while they fulfilled online orders. You might consider having a separate line for that or come up with a different plan than have people just standing there cleaning their noses. I came close to walking out. In general I like Illegal Petes and have gone to other locations and have enjoyed.

What a nice surprise! We stopped in at Illegal Pete's yesterday, here on a trip to drop off our son at Colorado College. We tried the bowls - super fresh, filling and delicious. I had a 'coin' margarita, too - yummy. Nice folks and a great vibe. We will definitely be back!

I dat at the bar top tonight and Alan was our server for our party - he was super fun, super patient and very attentive. There were spurts of business but he did a fantastic job at making sure we were still served efficiently. The chefs that made our dishes were fantastic at accommodating all of the meals we were trying to test as it was our first time. Alan - cheers!!!!
