I’m not sure if it was because the order came through around 19:30 or if the rice was old but it was hard and very off putting. The redeeming quality is that the fish was fresh tasting and thick cuts. I am curious to try this establishment again for the all you can eat and all you can drink hot sake and make a final judgement. If unfortunately though if the quality of sushi doesn’t improve next visit will certainly be the last.
Been coming here 1-2 times per year since ~2019 and used to be in love with the place but it seems like the level of service and sushi quality goes down a tiny bit every time we visit. Stopped in yesterday for lunch and had a very “okay” experience, staff/service was just okay and sushi was a little above Chinese buffet quality for double the price. Not sure if it was because we stopped in for lunch instead of dinner but I think for the price I would have been happier to...
Food was ok, fish could use more "snap," seemed a bit tired and extra tender. Daughter liked the salmon.
Service was decent, no complaints there. Ambiance was hipster / industrial. Some art, music a bit too loud. Casual, a place to eat a lot. They have all you can drink sake which is interesting, was priced $12.99 iirc
Not cheap but ok if you are going to eat a lot, maybe drink a gallon of sake.
