Got seated rather quick, my margarita took about 20 minutes to arrive, order took about 10 minutes to place and over 30 minutes to arrive, I saw about 3 tables each with couples and two families arrived after we placed our order, saw no real reason for order to be so slow except for the fact that they overcooked everything. Food was so overcooked it was difficult to bite into much less chew, crab was tough and tasteless. Margarita was supposed to be frozen strawberry and it was light pink, short on any juice or alcohol and was more than 3/4 full of solid ice for $11.25. service was so so for the little time we saw anyone. Was unimpressed. Both of us ate around 7pm and it's 11pm and both us have upset stomachs and have been to the bathroom numerous times. Came here right before pandemic and was blown away this time I wouldn't have bothered at all, I would compare this food to something I would expect to receive at Hooters. Definitely not worth the $100 I spent.

Quite honestly the worst food I have ever had, I should have known when they brought the silverware out dirty to begin with (huge red flag). Server didn't ring in the spinach dip, decided to take the order without writing anything down, so my salad and my sons Mac and cheese came out first. We ask about the spinach dip and she says she'll comp it, so we're like cool, she brings the spinach dip out the top of it is warm and the rest of it is literally ice cold. We gave it back and didn't ask for another. Then the main courses was their Alfredo pasta for me and a Cajun steam pot for my wife. The Alfredo was way over cooked, chicken for the pasta way over cooked, and it tasted like dirt. My wife's steam pot came with the shrimp (legs and p*** vein came with!) and the skimpiest crab you'll ever find for 46$. My wife and I both work in the restaurant industry and have now for several years, and honestly I'm all for having fun but when there's three tables and your cooks are in the back dancing, the server is sitting there eating in front of people, and the food comes out atrocious, you should be ashamed of yourselves. Needless to say will never be back as the bill was 100$, and we probably got 12$ worth of edible food. 0/10 stars

When I pay over $225 for dinner I expect to get my money's worth. Over the years quality and service has been slipping though. The last 2 times we've been the corn in my steamer pot comes out literally FROZEN and the potatoes hard. The crab is always delicious but for the cost I really expect the whole meal to be cooked and delicious. Today the floor under our table was sticky, the seats to our booth were filled with crumbs and table was not clean and we were not given silverware. The finger/hand wipes and lemon were non existent and refills on drinks were slow at best (I didn't even get offered a refill though my children did) overall disappointed yet again. I've been coming to Joe's for 20+ years so sad to write this review.

Went in for an early dinner with family and friends. Got seated very quickly and drink orders came quickly as well. Got one of the steam pots for two with my wife. We ordered the Atlantic Steam pot. Should have a little bit of the old bay seasoning lightly spread over the food. Noticed that the Sausage had a blanket of seasoning on it, so did the crab. I like seasoning, especially the Old Bay seasoning. So I didn't think anything of it. Grabbed a crab claw, broke it open, and ate the meat. What I didn't expect was the HEAT from the seasoning. I'm not good with spicy food, and this stuff made me sweat, and nearly passed out. Told the waitress I can't eat this, and immediately ordered a glass of milk. After the milk didn't do anything, I got a milk shake. The manager came to the table and profusely apologized and informed me of what happened.Turns out, the cook grabbed the GHOST PEPPER seasoning, and literally dumped what looked like a whole cup of the stuff on my food. I wasn't too happy right away. I was left complaining while my family and friends ate their food. The manager informed me that this isn't the first time this has happened this day, took the pot, made another and got it to us quickly.Mistakes happen, and I judge based on response of the mistake. Thank you Joe's, you cleaned my sinuses out, and I had great food and a great time.

This restaurant needs to be shut down! My first time there was May 8th for Mothers Day took my family we was a party of 7. First of all i had a reservation for 7pm ended up waiting for more than a hour! Was never greeting never saw a host i had to call a server to get greeted and get a table. Second i would just see how the employee go in and out of the restaurant when ever they want. My family food was cold and the entrees were not even brought at the same time and my server make so many mistakes with our order. I felt like i gave money away for free! Everyone in the restaurant seems lazy and like culture was not there. (NEVER SAW A MANAGER ON THE FLOOR) i blame Management for the lack of experience this restaurant has. I definitely will not be going ever again! I have hospitality experience and this was the worst experience ever i felt so sorry for my family on Mother's day!

Went to Joe's crab shack for the old birthday dinner. What the hell. Paid $55 for not even a whole crab. They called it a "bucket" apparently only because that's what it was served in. One full 4 leg half and a whimpy 2 leg no claw half. An ear of corn and 2 potatoes cut in half. Used to go there for hot date night before covid, they obviously went to garbage fast. Could have gone to the store and bought 27 live crabs for as much as we spent on dinner to not even get one whole crab. Will never be returning, which sucks, because it used to be a go to spot.

If I wrote this review 20 years ago it would have been much different. The location had only one other family here and it took a few minutes to get a seat. There were tables that were not cleaned off all over this location, and there was dust on everything. The waitress didn't show up for a few minutes. She took our drink order and brought them back to us rather quick. Once the order was placed for our food it took more than 20 minutes for the food to come. The food was overpriced and the food didn't even taste that great. It took forever to get our bill and then to pay it. Not a place I can continue to recommend unfortunately. I can see why they are closing locations. They serve alcoholic beverages, Coke products, and Regular Dr. Pepper. R.I.P. Joe's Crabshack, It's seen better days...

Had such an incredible experience here, it's going to sound corny, but there was an awesome Father Son moment while he learned from his Daddy how to eat crab legs! We absolutely loved this place, and will be back!! Our server was so awesome. I wish I could remember his name. We ordered the 'wrong" thing, and when we explained to him what we wanted he knew exactly what we should get, and I'm so glad he did. This place is a whole vibe! I remember seeing it on San Diego, and promising I would go one day, here I am an adult in a land locked state, and finally got to do it!!! Great job to this place for providing such a great time!!!

Eating here was a pleasant surprise. Looking at it and from things I had heard about it before. My server Nicole was amazing, very nice and a perfect balance between checking and letting me enjoy my meal. Eddie the manger even came over to check and make sure my service and food were good. He was very friendly and made my whole table laugh. It’s very rare to leave a restaurant in a great mood just from service. I will be back. Thank you to all the staff of your seeing this!

The service was very good. Not very busy. Food was mediocre. Everything was just kind of warm but not hot. I wanted to like it more, but I just couldn't. Everything tasted the same.

My boyfriend and I went in for dinner Monday evening. The restaurant was pretty empty. We waited for someone to seat us for several minutes. When someone finally approached us, it was a rude, brass, explanation about how short staffed they were and how they wouldn't, not couldn't, seat us. I understand being short staffed but this was rude and lazy. Nothing less. Will never be back. Save yourself the disappointment and go to red lobster. We did. We enjoyed our meal there and the excellent service we received. Red lobster was full of customers too.

The steampots were good. For the life of me I have NEVER had scampi with stewed tomato. It was not good at all. Scampi is a butter, garlic, lemon juice base (tomatoes NOPE). Son in law had the fried fish and shrimp. He ate very little because it was over cooked. He ended up sick later that night and into the next day. Husband and daughter enjoyed their drinks.

Went today at 730 pm, hostess ask if we had a res, we told her no, we were told there was a 30 min wait, gave the hostess our phone number to text us when a table was ready, she repeated the number back to us to make sure worte it correct waited in the parking lot for 45 min, and no text. We left, called the restaurant at 930 and asked why we still didn't receive a text, she said she text everyone on the list, she lied, the worst hostess service ever had at any restaurant

When we got to the restaurant the hostess was very good but the table she sat us at was disgusting. It was sticky and the floor under the table had not been cleaned in who knows how long it had something spilled on it probably a week ago and it was sticky and very dirty. The cooks in the kitchen were vaping while they were cooked. Health department needs to be called.
