Joey's Ny Pizza

We were there two days ago. Best tasting pizza we had in the area so far. Had our pizza in a few minutes. Sausage on the pizza was excellent. We live in the Canon City area and only have fair pizza places. Moved here from Chicago area so our expectations for pizza are pretty high. Going back again next week. Our friends have also made this their favorite pizza restaurant.

November 4, 2021 picked up pizza 🍕 Lunch for work

Pizza is cold. After waiting 1:45 they don't bother to come to the front counter to tell me my order is ready. sitting near the counter, i heard my name and look around. no one at the counter and no one looking for a response. then continued to watch Fox News on most TVs, absent of the world series game 6 that was on. After 10m I heard my name again. i looked around, no one at the counter, a few people in the kitchen at the back, but no one looking for a response. and then yelled back to the kitchen staff if they were telling me my order was ready. yep. After about 2hrs I'm going home with cold pizza. i pre tipped 20%. lol yay

my kids thought i was dead when i got home. anyways, joeys forgot the salad dressing and sauces. i microwaved the pizza.

I know when ever they say their from the east coast and they’re eating a pizza shop in CO everyone in CO rolls their eyes. I’m here for all the criticism any native Coloradan wants to give me. On my first visit here I had the meatball grinder, and can’t wait for a taste of pizza! The grinder was off the hook good! The bread… top notch. Everything about it brought me right back to the northeast. Thank you Joey’s!

Gotten several pies here and they’re usually pretty good (coming from a NY pizza snob). Today the crust was over cooked and a little too thick. i informed the manager, he apologized and said “sorry about that, we have a new guy on the oven.” 1. If you knew that then, why not closely monitor his work until he gets more proficient? 2. No concessions were offered. He could have comped me something, offered me a soda or something. 3. Care a little bit more.

Absolutely Amazing Pizza! Just Like Downtown NYC! 5 Stars On Toppings Crust & the Sauce & Cheese, Everything Is So Good and the Slices Are HUGE. The Crust Is So Good It's Delicious.

The pizza is absolutely phenomenal, best I've ever had. They don't have Dr Pepper though and that made me sad lol.

I make an order over the phone and the guy tells me 40 mins and I get here and they tell me they don't have my order put in and now I'm hungry and pissed.

My wife and I lucked up on this location one afternoon when I was picking her up from work and we decided to stop in. First of all, the local is dope for personal interaction and low key vibes, when we walked in the music was absolutely fire & the crew greeted us immediately happily. Because we were new to the spot we were given ample time, no rush to peruse the menu and decide what we liked, all questions were answered and suggestions provided. Once the food started coming out everything was piping hot, steam coming from it. All of the flavors were absolutely spot on. This location makes all of their sauces fresh, everything was hand made on order. It was just absolutely epic between the location and environment the other patrons coming in were super nice and personable as well. There wasn't one thing we tried that wasn't absolutely delicious. The prices were also great for everything we ordered, just a completely solid vibe and experience. I can 100% say that I recommend this spot for anyone looking for a dope spot to relax, vibe, and be around great people this is your location.

My wife and I will definitely be regular and frequent patrons, we can't wait to return!

I believe new owners took over since my original post a couple of years ago although the flavor of the pizza is still good the crust on the sicilian pizza changed, its basically just like the rounds thinkness but cut in squares, the only thinkness is the edge, See photo

I'm originally from the east coast and often struggle with finding comparable pizza to back home but I really like the Sicilian pizza here

This is not.
New York pizza as a matter of fact and barely makes Colorado pizza. Their sauce was not good. The pizza was not good. The crust was not good. So if you want real New York pizza, do not go here. I have had better pizza from domino's and pizza hut
