We had a disappointing experience with the quality of a calzone at another Joey's location last year. After being told by an employee at that store that a recipe change was the reason for the different cheese and quality, we decided to visit the northern location today. However, the brother of the owner assured us that there had been no recipe change. Instead, he attributed the issue to a mistake and offered to prepare the calzone we had been used to, which was excellent. He also promised to inform his brother about our experience. Impressed by the brother's exceptional customer service and commitment to quality, we went back and edited our review at the other Joey's, upgrading to 5 stars according to our previous experiences at that store.

I don’t know why I keep trying this place. The pizza, when it’s cooked well, is great. But more times than not it’s either undercooked or overcooked. And if you order online I recommend calling ahead and make sure they actually got it. The staff are always fighting and don’t actually make the food. Unless you stand there watching them.

The time was 6:30 pm. I placed an order for delivery with a cheese and pepperoni pizza, some garlic knots, and cannoli. *silence* Time became 7:26 pm I called to get an update on my order and immediately got placed on hold. *Silence* time is now 7:36 pm and they finally responded where I informed them I am still waiting on my order that was set to arrive at 7:16 pm and got told they are backed up but my order just went out for delivery.

Time is now 8:03 pm and I have not received my order I placed an hour and a half ago (I live less than a mile away and would have just picked up myself if I didn’t have a newborn to put to bed). Am I getting my food tonight?
