Kava Colorado

Would love to leave an actual review, but the store doesn’t keep the hours listed. It says it’s open til 2am and the owner even commented saying that’s certain nights if the week, inviting Thursdays. Well, stopped by on a Thursday at midnight and they’re still closed. I don’t know what’s up with this town and shops not bothering to keep the hours they’ve posted. Just update it online.

You guys need to update your hours on google. I’ve been over there a few times and it says you’re open until 2am. 2/3 times no on was there and tonight the open sign was on at 10:30 and when I walked up someone came to the door and said you were closed…

They are the most friendly people in this industry. The shop is so warm and cozy. You feel very at ease every time you walk in the door.

Incredible peaceful experience with an amazing area to relax and have fun. I love that I can come in here and lounge on the couch or get some work done on my laptop.

First time to A kava bar. Definitely had an alternative vibe to it. A strong culture among the locals though definitely different from what I'm personally used to. Check it out might be for you!

Also being open till 2:00 a.m. gives you an excellent opportunity for late night projects. Plus Kava is healthy

I’ll start with the good. The staff was really friendly and explained everything to us answering any questions we had. Additionally the atmosphere was pretty stupor on with good lighting, great seating, and plenty of cool items and items to buy.

The kava itself is apparently not our thing. Not only does it not taste good (kind of like dirty water,) but it had no affect on us at all. Now I didn’t want to rate it too low for that because people who do like kava might like it. Who knows, maybe it’s an acquired thing.

The main bad side was that it was marked as $6 a drink and with that in mind we got two but they charged us $21 and only brought up that the price had raised until after we were shocked at the price. We wouldn’t have gotten two if we had seen the real price and definitly
If we had known it wasn’t worth it in the first place.

Overall if you like kava you might find it worth it but it wasn’t worth it to us.

I love literally everything about this place and all the girls are some of the loveliest places and people I love about The Springs!!!

Vegetarian options: Cheeses sticks!!!

Kid-friendliness: Super kid friendly! All ages and pets too! As long as they are on a leash. The pets, not the kiddos.

I used to frequent another local Kava bar and after discovering this place I will never give anyone else my business. All the girls who work here are knowledgeable AND kind. This place has a great sense of community, if you are looking for a place to make friends, drink Kava or Kratom, coffee, loose leaf tea, boba and more this is the spot ! If you don’t come by your missing out.

I absolutely adore this place. I spend a decent bit of time here and I can confidently say that this is the best Kava bar in the Springs. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff, they even realized when I changed my hair color and could recognize my voice lol. Kava generally doesn't taste great but The Colorado is genuinely the best Kava drink I've had. Even getting a double you can barely taste the kava. Very fair prices on everything too, and they offer a 10% military/cash discount. The atmosphere is very warm and inviting, very cozy I would say. There are games to play, consoles, and my favorite thing is they let me bring my PlayStation and hook it up, have a few drinks and hang out! Seriously my favorite place to go when I have nothing to do and want to get out, or if I just want a comforting place to relax and unwind. They also sell a variety of kratom and tea products and all sorts of other stuff. I couldn't recommend this place enough.

Also Kori has been amazing every time I come in and is knowledgeable about the products they sell and can answer any questions you may have. Absolutely amazing service all around :)
