Went to the KFC off of Nevada didn’t take long to get through the drive thru but was very awkward when the person didn’t say our total until we got to the window, I’m sorry I use to work in the food service and I always made sure to tell the customers at the drive thru their total before they got to the window. But other than that their was no ice in our drinks.

Food was cold, drinks were warm, broken equipment, building was swarmed with homeless people, staff are subsequently incapable/unable/indifferent to correct all described problems. Paid $21+ for two entrees. Got to the window and the cashier had me repeat my order, calling me boss. Gave me two drinks without ice. When I asked three times (ignored) why there was no ice - indifferent cashier said ‘the machine is broke.’ Drinks were lukewarm. Staff had me wait in the parking lot for food - took another 10 minutes for them to bring out the two entrees, which were cold. Could not even eat half the order (after putting it in the oven at home) because the food tasted like it had sat all day long. I am going to be even more real here, because the quality of KFCs in all Colorado Springs IS SUSPECT. A SINGLE franchisee owns the KFC here (Nevada) the KFC in Olde Colorado City and the KFC off of Academy - indicative - as they are all similarly poor quality and are always one disappointing dining experience after another. This sort of nonsense is a top-down problem. [ownership] there are some things you can control in this review (hire decent people, provide them with quality ingredients and working equipment, pay them a living wage) and there are others you cannot (location being overrun by homeless people). For these continually poor quality dining experiences, ownership and management ought to be ashamed. If you’re a customer; save yourself the salmonella and fast-food robbery and go to Popeyes. If you’re the owner - do better - otherwise there’s going to soon be a formal complaint lodged for these (3) locations with local food inspectors. Shutdown your restaurant(s) if you cannot guarantee your food isn’t going to make people sick.

Breading falling off the chicken, grease puddle in the bottom of the bucket, biscuits look like they sat on them; said the chicken was fresh, had to wait for it, but got home and it looked like this(I live within 2 miles, so it’s not like it sat long!) Just a waste of money, will not be coming back!

They made me pull around the parking lot instead of waiting at the drive through window so they can trick corporate into thinking their service is better than it is

The chicken they gave me was inedible, it seemed like it had been cooked the day before and refried, parts were hard and it was all extremely greasy and inedible. The store never answered the phone when I called, I finally found a number online, they gave me a small refund that didn’t even cover the cost of the chicken. Do not go here, this restaurant is dirty and the food is disgusting
This was by far the worst fast food experience I've ever had.
I pulled into the drive-thru at around 5:10 PM on Monday, 7/14/25 and placed a simple order — 6-piece tender with coleslaw. There was only one car ahead of me, yet I waited nearly 20 minutes just to pull up to the window. When I got there, the cashier (receipt said RAELYNNNS) asked me again what I ordered. I told her. She closed the window, walked away, came back, asked again. I told her again. Then she told me the total was $20.54, and I paid her with a $20 and a $5.
She gave me a water… but no change. I had to ask. She said they were out of $1s and to pull around while she got the manager. I waited 15 more minutes, she finally brought the food, apologized, and still didn’t have my change. I asked again — she went inside.
10 minutes later she comes back and asks — I kid you not — “What did you order again?” I was literally eating in my car outside the front door at this point.
I told her for the fifth time: 6-piece tender, coleslaw, $20.54 total, paid $25.
After waiting even longer, I had to go inside myself to get my change. She was nowhere to be found, and another employee had to help me.
The whole process took nearly an hour just to place a basic order and get my change — and I had to ask for it multiple times.
I get that people have off days, but this level of disorganization and poor service is unacceptable. If management sees this — feel free to make it right. Otherwise, I’ll make sure everyone knows what kind of experience to expect here.
Came in here to pick up a uber order and the manager looked at me with a lazy look and told me it was going to be 25 minutes before the chicken for my order was ready. Totally unacceptable it made me have to cancel the order I will never come back to this KFC to pick up a delivery again and I highly suggest any other doordash or Uber Eats drivers avoid this place at all cost.
I would give it zero stars if I could. It was the driest toughest chicken sandwich I've ever had. I couldn't eat even half of it. Glad I don't have dentures. Biting into it would've pulled them right out.
