The food is delicious! I would strongly recommend you eat here. I am a huge Village Inn fan, I live in Houston Texas where there are no Village Inns. When I come to Colorado, Village inn is where I usually eat. My partner insisted I try this place, it was like heaven in my mouth. When we left I told my partner forget Village Inn this is where we need to come all the time!

Absolutely amazing!! Food was amazing, and the service was great! Our waiter, Gary, was hilarious and very helpful! Even after we finished and paid, Gary kept coming back asking if we wanted refills of our sodas and coffee. Big shout out for Gary!!

My food was very good, the service was very East Coast. If you don't mind short answers and being told to let them run their restaurant then you'll be fine. I would go back with a small group and adults only. There is no kids menu.
Kid-friendliness: No kid's menu and kid's portions seemed frowned upon.

Cool little spot in downtown Co. Springs. We were in and out, and the waitress was very attentive. The food was excellent, and the portions were impressive. Highly recommend.

Walked into the diner at 7:15AM. Only 2 patrons in the entire place, sitting at the bar. I walk in an took a close table. The server came up to me making snide comments about how "I blew right by him so he couldn't greet me" "you must be in a real hurry to just barge in" with a definite put down attitude in his voice. I can see why a breakfast theme diner only had 2 patrons on a Driday morning. I'm a huge tipper also!! Lived many years in Vegas, Reno, and Tahoe.... minimum 25% tip for mediocre service up to matching the check for great service....

I come back to this place every time I'm in the Springs. The magic moved with them after they moved. I love pancakes and they don't serve them, but their French toast is to die for.

Probably my favorite green chili in the state, but way different than anyone else's too. Portions are massive, but a little spendy. Meat quality is solid, but not as premium as some of my other favorite breakfast burrito spots. Service is friendly and efficient, and never had any issues with special orders.
If you're in CO Springs and you enjoy breakfast burritos, you have to check out King's Chef!

Great food and a ton of it
Breakfast burritos here used to be the best in town, the green chili still is, but the changes made since covid for their to go orders, seating, as well as new staffing have all unfortunately changed this location in poor ways. Sad to see this place going downhill after 10+ amazing years of going.
