I would eat here on the regular if I was a local. Warned us about the green chili on the breakfast burrito but I’d say it was a 4/10 on the spice scale but great taste! You’re going to need to skip lunch! BTW, kids had the French toast and had to have a bite myself, so friggin good!

Wow! Incredible breakfast! Sit at the bar and watch the amazing cooks working together to create such masterpieces! Thanks for making smaller portions available, as they still were HUGE! Their green Chile was especially good.

Greasy and fast hole-in-the-wall. Perfect for a late night dinner or quick takeaway. The gentleman running the diner was very polite and courteous.

Excellent food, service and cool vibe. Favorite meal is the Huevos but the pepper melt is a strong 2nd!

When we walked in the host was very friendly and fun. He cracked jokes the whole time and made the experience worth it alone(employees name was Gary ) they got our food out to us quickly and it was still steaming. I ordered French toast , a breakfast burrito, and the grump 1/2 order . The French toast fluffy with a good egg ratio in it , felt like they melted in my mouth . The breakfast burrito was amazing also it came out smothered with green chili and gravy . It’s mix of everything was well distributed throughout the whole thing . I personally liked to add there red salsa on top of in addition. Now the grump 1/2 order was massive on its own. I added bacon and ham to mine. Which like the burrito was just suck a great mixture of flavor. The grump should only be called the grump because It makes me wish I had heard of this place sooner. They have great breakfast food. Can’t wait to go back and try some of there other option

If you want to take a trip back to a simpler time when food was hearty and plentiful. The service caring and thoughtful. The overall vibe being welcoming and inclusive with great music. This is your spot!

Prices are outrageous. Then the have the stones to add their own 20% tip onto the bill without my knowledge or permission. Great food....but just no longer worth my time or money.Wheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair friendly at all.

This place was recommended to us, so we thought lets try it. Not gonna lie; when we first approached the place, I wasn't sure what to expect. A little small for eating in, but the food was awesome! I had a 1/2 order of The Grump with green chili and I totally enjoyed that. This will definitely be a place I come back to when I am in town.

I’ve been going here for over 20 years. Great food and service and a fun environment.

It seems like things have gotten a bit smaller with less sauce since our last visit. It's been awhile and it was pre-pandemic so maybe some compromise must be expected. The burrito was good, but not great like it was in the past.

Excellent breakfast! Friendly staff! We were greeted the moment we entered, waitress said to choose a table & she’d meet us there with water. She immediately brought us water & menus, gave us a few minutes to look over the menu, then returned to see if we had decided, or had any questions. I ordered the (mini) breakfast burrito w/green chili and it was DELICIOUS! The mini was so big I couldn’t eat it all! I told the waitress if mine was a mini, I couldn’t imagine the size of a regular breakfast burrito!! (They next couple that came in ordered the regular sized breakfast burrito and it was huge!). Great staff, great food! We’ll definitely eat here again when we’re in Colorado! They Elevation coffee was excellent too!

Without question this diner has the best breakfast in the Springs. Some of the best burgers in the Springs. The waitress is super nice, and actually custom makes each cup of sweet tea to my preferred level of sweetness, Alabama southern style (she makes a quick simple syrup and adds it to unsweet tea, the result is incredible.)You owe it to yourself to come here at least once. The portions are massive, the prices are reasonable. Don't let the wacky castle building deter you, go on in, grab a seat, and enjoy.Parking: The location has a few parking spaces, and some street city metered parking. There is also a parking garage for $1 per hour about a block and a half away next to the pioneer museum.Wheelchair accessibility: Unfortunately do to it's age to get inside the building there are two steps. They do have outside seating however. I believe if you call them they'd be happy to come out and take care of you.
