I’ve been a loyal customer of La Baguette at the Old Colorado City location for the past five years, and I’ve always loved their pastries and bread. However, recently something seems to have changed. On three separate occasions, I’ve noticed that some of the pastries, like the éclairs, have had an odd taste, almost like the smell of the cleaning product Fabuloso. Being Latina, I’m very familiar with the scent, and it seems to be transferring from the cleaning process onto the pastries.
I understand that things like this can happen occasionally, but it’s been three times in a row, and I’ve had to throw the pastries away each time. It’s disappointing because I truly love supporting local businesses, and La Baguette has always been one of my favorites. I hope they can address this issue because I’d love to return and enjoy their pastries as I have in the past!
Came here for lunch after asking one of the locals what’s good around here. Was pleasantly surprised at the portion size. The food was excellent and I would definitely come back here again.

Hostile to Dogs. Don't even think of bringing your Yorkie in. They will run you out. Homeless magnate. Many homeless were hanging out front. Not sure why at this location but the smell was unbearable. I witnessed a couple sitting on their patio being harassed by a homeless man and they got up and left.

It's a problem all over this city. My granddaughters and I stop for a croissant and hot chocolate yesterday. Food and service was great until a homeless person walked in, sat at a table near us and started hollering at the voices in their head, I guess. I understand the staff doesn't want to put their safety at risk but this unacceptable. It was very unsettling for the customers and those that walked in after that sat at tables across the room or towards the back to avoid this person. We finished our food quickly and left. Won't be back to this location again.
