The food here is excellent. Very tasty and authentic. The wait time was very short. The waitress was polite and lovely. Great kids menu. The atmosphere is so beautiful. They have the carved tables, carved chairs and the carved booths. It is a gorgeous in there. You can tell they put a lot of work in this restaurant. I look forward to going in again with friends and family. ?

Food was really good. The only issue is that they don't take the Entertainment book/app coupon..eventhough there is one. They should remove it to eliminate the expectation.

I ordered a plate of roast beef and shrimp and the price was a bit excessive for the quality of the food. The meat was very tough and dry and the service was bad despite the fact that there were few people.

Hit and miss-- burritos are ok but the green Chile leaves more to be desired. Enchiladas and margaritas are awesome though.
I understand a few of the negative reviews, however it seemed like a laid back place. The food wasn't terrible, but it's nothing to write home about. Nothing seemed too dirty.I won't come back, but I certainly don't regret giving them a try.(Although I will say the peas and carrots in the rice confused me)

The food was served cold, some bits were frozen, and some was a bit raw so never coming back ever again.

Stopped by the Iowa location fir lunch and had great food and great service. Rellenos were some of the best, as was the flan. I travel and eat Mexican food in NM and AZ often, and LA Carreta is very good compared to any restaurants I've been to....highly recommended!

When I first walked in I didn't see any staff, but someone soon came out to seat me. Felt like a classic Mexican cantina, which are among my favorite spots. I was served chips and salsa, the salsa was very good. I ordered the pork tamale with a cheese enchilada, and it was delicious as well! The coffee was surprisingly fantastic, and it was served in a cool mug! I should have taken a picture! Overall a great place, right next to work, so I will be coming more often!

Good food. Carnitas were great. Service was decent. A bit slow at times. The restaurant had flickering lights and uncovered light fixtures which definitely made it less nice to eat in.
