Discovered today that La Cava is open and is under new ownership. The new menu has a many dishes from which to choose. Margaritas are great.

We were visiting family from California and decided to try this place out. It was delicious and the service was great.
Website states that they open at 11. We got there at 11:20. They were closed. We called and the guy stated that they open at noon. We came back at noon and they were still closed. Waited a few minutes and called and this time there was no answer.

Everything tasted good. The service was excellent. Some suggestive changes, in my opinion, are not to put cilantro in everything that is being served. Like the salsa, guacamole, your green sauce, and even sprinkled on the fajita plates. It is a strong herb and tastes like soap to some people. I would suggest only putting it in items if requested by the customer(s) when ordering. The sopapillas do not need whipped cream and chocolate on them. Honey is all you need.

Great food, authentic Mexican flavor, the service is excellent, and you can ask even for some special things, like having romantic music or of your preference. This is my favorite Mex place in COS.Parking: --- Nothing else.
Pretty cool place- loved the rock walls and ambiance. The food, especially the carne asada, was delicious and the skinny margaritas were perfect - not too sweet. We loved the salsa too. The servers were very attentive and friendly. Will absolutely be back!

The place was empty! No customers at 6pm on a week night! My first instinct was to turn around and find somewhere else to eat. However, I would have missed the most delicious seafood chimichanga and margaritas, served by the most gracious and attentive waiter! The food was exquisite and only overshadowed by the delightful atmosphere! The stone walls and decor provided the ambiance to a perfect meal! I am so glad we decided to dine here!Parking: This restaurant is a local gem hidden away in a small community. Plenty of parking.
