Fantastic food! I typically come here for a quick breakfast burrito in the morning, but the guisado tacos and burritos are INCREDIBLE for lunch or dinner time! This is some of the most flavorful Mexican food I've ever had (even compared to Southern California). I've spoken with the owner, Blanca, and she's really passionate about what she does - She puts a lot of heart into her food!

This place deserves more than a 5 star review! their food was so good, it really brought me back to mexican food from mexico. The customer service that I recieved while I was there was incredible, the owner really catered to what i needed and the place is very clean. I would recommend La Taquiza to anyone who really misses that traditional Mexican taste.

Despite being a small out of the way place, the service was great, it was nice and quiet. The food came out quick, it was hot and absolutely delicious. Smothered Burrito with the Steak Guisado was incredible. Wife got Super Taquiza with a delicious salsa and our friend got a Quesadilla. Absolutely would come back anytime!

La Taquiza is a total vibe! You can tell right away that everything is made fresh in-house, and it’s like a flavor explosion with every bite. The corn tortillas? Unreal. Soft, warm, and the perfect foundation for their LOADED tacos. I’m still dreaming about those tortillas. And don’t even get me started on the chips and queso—creamy, rich, absolutely dreamy. I could eat it by the bucket.

But the real star was the nopales con puerco. That cactus was so fresh, so flavorful. And they don’t skimp on their tacos either—stuffed to the brim with amazing flavors. The mole poblano taco was insane—rich, deep, and just flat-out delicious. If you’re a taco fan, La Taquiza is a must.

The owner was an absolute sweetheart—so welcoming and full of warmth. You can feel her passion for the food she crafts, especially since it’s inspired by her home city of Mexico City. She truly pours her heart into every dish, and it shows. Can’t wait to go back!

Dietary restrictions: Loads of gluten free and vegetarian options.

Flavorful hidden gem.
Some of the best churros we've ever had, from anywhere.
Meats were all super rich and flavorful. Every dish was plated to impress, and backed up the visual.
Service was fast.

We'll be back soon.

Hands down the best breakfast burrito I’ve had since living here in. It’s an actual burrito not gigantic like the other places. Don’t sleep on this hidden gem. We did take out, walked In and felt cozy and welcoming. Definitely coming back to try the rest of the menu

What a great little local place! The owner is from Mexico City making traditional food. The conchinita pibil, picadillo, and homemade tortillas are super tasty!

$7 for a bean and cheese burrito and it doesn't even come with sauce? Give me Taco Bell next time!

Meh! The food seemed tasty enough but the burrito was more 'well done' then I care for leaving a little burnt taste with every bite. The service and atmosphere could have easily been friendlier and a little more patient.
