This is our favorite place for lunch. The food is high quality and affordable. I love the tortellini; It compares to plates in Europe. Salads are fresh with good dressing. Cost is same as fast food, but this is so much better. Only wish they were open for dinner. The setting is quiet and relaxed.

The place was absolutely freezing. They had just opened so I assume the heat hasn't gotten a chance to turn on yet. But that's ok. The workers were very nice. My only issue is that my food I ordered was delicious, but the menu didn't say it came with fruit. So I was brought out a plate with cantaloupe on it. Sounds nice except that I'm allergic to cantaloupe, which is why I don't order items with fruit so that I'm not a burden. Overall, I would eat here again.

We just stopped in for tea. This is a great place to sit and visit with a friend or colleague. I've eaten here numerous times, and the food is quite good.

Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else! I walked in and the first thing I noticed was a sign that said Colorado Springs Best 2016...first clue it was going to be bad. The bad cleaner smell filled the air and not the smell of food...clue two. The cashier/waitress was wearing a sweatshirt, track pants and fur lined Crocs....clue three. The prices would have been decent if the food was worth it. The coffee was Folgers!!!! French restaurant with Folgers coffee!!!!! The French roll was so hard I had to saw through it was my knife, took one bite and was not worth it. The omelette was small and thin...maybe a two egg omelette, with a very small serving of potatoes. My daughter had the kids waffle that were okay but the syrup a thin film on top it that made it seem it had been in its container for too long. The table was sticky and food was okay. Go to the restaurant around the corner that was packed on Friday morning, First Watch, and not the wannabe French cafe.

This is our favorite breakfast place, hands down. We eat here about once a week. We've been coming here for almost 15 years. The owner and the staff are so kind. Service is amazing. Even when they are absolutely slammed (Sunday brunch rush!), they still bring food with a smile and are so patient with our complicated orders! Food recommendations... obviously the French onion soup. It really is the best in town. My nearly 2 year old loves it and has since she was sipping the broth at 6 months old. We love the cowboy omelet (with Swiss cheese!), the kids eggs and bacon is a great deal for the price. All the croissants are delicious. The quiche is so good. And as I mentioned before... we have some pretty complicated orders due to little kids and dietary restrictions and the staff are so accommodating. The only thing I've ever had here that I didn't love was the chicken salad. (My 9 year old loved it, though. ‍) Highly, highly recommend La Tartine!

It was a little disappointed - the food was good, but I expect better.I ordered a chicken salad on a baguette. The chicken as well as the onions and celery was chopped so finely than the majority of taste was mayonnaise! In fact when you bite into the baguette all the Chicken Salad would squish out.I prefer bite size or larger chicken. The celery should be 1/4 bite size. Mayonnaise should be minimal. You should taste the chicken and feel the crunch of the celery and taste the chicken, celery, onions and lastly mayonnaise.I also had the corn chowder soup. It was think on corn chowder. Tasted good, could not determine that it was corn chowder. The baguette and the roll with the soup seemed a day or two old.

Stopped in today for some French onion soup. Absolutely delicious and we will be back. Extensive menu items including pastries and breakfast items. Highly recommend and good to support local business.

I've been coming here for years! I love it. The lobster and shrimp ravioli is the BEST! They also make their bread homemade and it is so delish! 10/10

This was our 1st visit and we will visit again. We arrived about 1pm on a Saturday and the cafe wasn’t all that busy. It took a very long time to be recognized and we had to flag someone down to take our order. Many of the tables were in need of cleaning but we found a place to sit. The food was great. I had the French onion soup and my guest ordered french toast. A little more front of the house awareness and this place could be top notch.

The food is sooo good! The service is lacking. Seems like the chef loves his job and the servers hate their's. But I still eat there a lot.

Had breakfast there this morning. Veggie benedict. On the plus side the eggs had no runny whites. Presentation was nice. Fruit was fresh.Things I did not care for though,The restaurant was cold. We sat next to a window to get a little sunlight and warmth.I did not care for the pastry foundation for my veggie benedict, it fell apart. Nothing to sink my fork into and pull up the other goodness. Not enough Hollandaise sauce. I believe the menu said Bernaisse but whatever, there wasn’t enough.Lastly, I asked for some Tabasco sauce. All they had was Cholula.Seemed a little odd to me that a French themed restaurant wouldn’t have Tabasco, which is on every table in Louisiana, a very French influenced state. In conclusion it’s very possible that I will give them another try however I will not be ordering any sort of eggs benedict again.

First time here. Good prices. Sandwich and salad. Salad and soup. Or soup and sandwich $10 when I was there. My wife had a spinach salad and French onion soup. Came with a large roll. I'm going back for sure.
