My first time here. I took my family to celebrate my son's birthday. The portions were huge but, unfortunately, I was disappointed in the food. I ordered the 9 oz. Parmesan Crusted Chicken with Half-Rack Baby Back Ribs. It was nice that it came with 2 sides. The baked potato and broccoli were delicious but the ribs were a little dry and most of all, the chicken was extremely salty.
We all had empty glasses and were getting thirsty. The waitress only came by once in the hour we were there to fill our glasses.
Most of all, LongHorn Steakhouse is quite expensive so I was expecting better service and quality of food, not covered up by excessive salt.

I first visited a Longhorn Steakhouse in Southaven, Mississippi and it was SOOOO good! Decided to give this location a shot here in the Springs and was not disappointed. The atmosphere is quaint, service is always cordial and appropriate, and the food is prepared just right. The portion sizes always allows me to take some home in order to take a great lunch to work the following day.
On this visit I had the Salmon with garlic mash potatoes, and Crispy Brussle Sprouts with a Well done Ribeye Steak. It was like the half and half plate. Then, I had the Lava Cake to go for dessert. The steak was super tender, perfectly marbalized, and the Brussel Sprouts were crunchy and well seasoned. I forgot, we had the Parmesean Mushrooms for the appetizer and was able to take some of that home as well. They were soo.. good!

Honestly best food I’ve had in awhile. The menu may seem a bit intimidating, but it is worth looking over. Definitely a place for date night or even just going out for drinks.

Just celebrated our 41st anniversary at Longhorn (Barnes Road, Colorado Springs, CO). We always go to this Longhorn for all special occasions and we are always more than happy with the experience. The hostess was cheerful and welcoming! Our server was attentive and proficient! The food was wonderful! The chocolate dessert was amazing! The manager even stopped by our table to welcome us. We will be celebrating there again, soon!

We were at the Colorado Springs off Barnes Rd location. Definitely ask for Michael (with the mustache). Our waiter, Michael, was outstanding!! I really enjoyed the lunch time atmosphere & the food seemed better during lunch than our previous experiences during the dinner rush.

Michael was our server and he is outstanding! Wife and I had a moment to grab lunch together and we stopped into the Longhorn and Michael himself made it worth the stop. Colorado Springs.

Dorion J. was phenomenal! He approached the table with a fantastic attitude, engaged in a conversation, he came back with everything we ordered in a timely fashion, he had a huge area he was covering an NEVER ONCE made us wait for anything. Despite how busy he was, he always made sure he took care of us. What a fantastic employee you guys have!! Make sure you keep him!

Horrible! We’ve eaten here a couple times before and usually enjoyed our experience, but our last visit was very disappointing. Both the food and service were far below expectations. My steak was overcooked twice, I like medium rare or I will not eat it! While my husband’s was undercooked. The waiter seemed indifferent to the issue, and there was no attempt to make things right, even after we said something. We ended up paying over $80 for a meal we couldn’t enjoy. It’s unfortunate to see the quality and service decline so much from what this restaurant used to offer.
