McDonald's in Colorado Springs has garnered mixed reviews. Despite the late hour, one guest noted the service was excellent and the employees were very friendly, making their midnight stop a pleasant surprise. Another customer had a minor hiccup when their curbside order was possibly given to someone else. However, the staff quickly rectified the mistake by remaking the order fresh within three minutes, despite a long line of other complaints. Although the staff, particularly the drive-thru employee, was friendly and tried to assist, the overall experience was not always positive.

The restaurant is wheelchair accessible and has several handicapped spots. It is kid-friendly, and the interior is clean. However, the fries are always overcooked, and the inside is always greasy. The staff is always friendly but can ignore people standing at the counter. Also, the fries can be too hot which is perfect. The cheeseburger was hot, fresh, with the requested extra onions on point as promised. It was delightful as well as the ice creams. For their first visit they had a great snack!

Conversely, there have been issues with the frappe machine during breakfast hours. One frequent visitor recounted their frustration with the machine being cleaned every Thursday at 6:00 a.m., just an hour after breakfast starts. This cleaning process takes an hour, yet even after waiting, the machine was still not ready. The manager on duty was unhelpful, and the repeated trips to get a large frappe led to dissatisfaction.

In summary, while the service and food quality at this McDonald's can be commendable, the timing of equipment maintenance and management's handling of certain situations could benefit from improvement.
