The service was excellent and the atmosphere fun. The food was great, especially the chile rellenos. Their regular salsa was a little bland for us so we asked for a spicier one - we received two more bowls of salsa of different flavors. All 3 were delicious! Highly recommend this restaurant!

Been wanting to try Mexico Real for a while! We were starving after mini golf, so we stopped by. What a great place! My new favorite. The decor is beautiful. They even have a little mercado where you can buy really cool items!The salsa is definitely my favorite so far. It actually has flavor, which I'm not used to as far as the restaurant salsas. I really liked the flautas. Best shredded beef. They also have the best refried beans and rice. The staff is very friendly and kind. Really enjoyed interacting with them.Really can't wait to go back. Highly recommend!!

Delicious food at a good price. Excellent staff and service! The restaurant and gift shop are beautifully decorated and very clean. The owner, Adam greeted our table and followed up to ask about our experience. This is our new favorite Mexican restaurant! My and husband and I tried Mexico Real for our date night and it did not disappoint. The food was delicious, flavorful and mouth watering. Being 6 months pregnant I’ve been craving Mexican and I left with a happy kicking in my stomach. The atmosphere was nice and the service was attentive. We will definitely be back.

Great atmosphere here, and friendly service. We stopped in late afternoon, and we were surprised they offered us the lunch special, nice! Great chips and salsa to start and the lunches followed quickly after. Great food too, we had the combo plates: one with and enchilada and burrito, the other with a tamale and chile relleño. The flavors here are better than your typical Mexican restaurant. Deeper, smoky chicken flavor and the shredded beef was excellent.

The tamales were the worst I’ve ever had. They were so dry with no sauce. When I asked for a side of red sauce he brought my a bowl of the cold salsa for the chips. The tamales seemed like they were weeks old. The masa was like a rock. Thankfully they took it off my bill.
How does this place have 4.9 stars? The chips were the stalest tortilla chips I've ever had in my life, the salsa was more of a tomato sauce than a salsa, and the food was surprisingly bland.The pineapple margarita wasn't bad, but the strawberry margarita tasted like cough syrup. Taco Bell would have been better. Definitely the worst Mexican restaurant I've been to in the Springs. At least it didn't make us sick. Just gassy the day after.

I'm from Texas and love the tex-mex food and I think I found my new favorite spot!!! Only thing that I wasn't please with was the salsa. Everything else was amazing! The margarita "Real Margarita" was big, strong and worth the $16. Sorry I didn't a picture of the food- but take my word, it was delicious!!! Oh and the food portion are worth the prices on the menu. Customer service was great and overall, I will be a returning customer for sure!

Worst meal in a long time! First the good points: the service was good, fast and friendly. Kept the drinks and salsa filled. Nice place to sit in, but once a large party came in their conversation consumed the room. The queso was great!! Bad Points: the FOOD! The Suiza Enchiladas were watery and the cheese was clumpy. The taco meat tasted like heated up Taco Bell meat - same flavoring and all. Sour cream even seemed a few days older than best buy date. I couldn't even stomach to eat the rice, pungent taste immediately to the palate. Overall an expensive bowl of queso, chips and salsa!
