I read all the reviews about challenges on holidays. Went anyway on Mother's Day thinking “It's just busy, we can be a little patient I'm sure it'll be fine.” Honestly, they are so poorly staffed and managed they probably shouldn't be accepting Open Table reservations on holidays. Reservations are nothing more than a place in line after you check in, not an actual reservation. After waiting nearly an hour after our time (which we were early for), we got seated only to be told the kitchen is backed up an hour. We were committed at this point and ordered the moment someone came to our table and did wait close to an hour as promised, but the real problem was as our server explained half of our order sat under heat lamps for 30-45 minutes while other parts got cooked. Had eggs Benedict where the poached egg was hard boiled and the hollandaise was nearly curdled it had sat so long, also had black toast on one meal, etc. They seem like they might be fine on any given day but can't handle a holiday. Our server was apologetic the whole time, although nothing was done to help, even some bread for the hour long kitchen wait would have been something.

Kaitlyn and the whole staff at Mimi's were amazing on Mother's Day. The hostesses were helpful and managed the Mother's Day brunch rush. The food was incredible and despite the kitchen being backed up, the service was excellent. Our server Kaitlyn was amazing and so helpful. We even had server Tyler help us out at parts. My mom and I had a great Mother's Day, and this day was reminiscent to when she would take me here as a child. I am very happy with my experience. The food was excellent- I loved the special holiday menu.
We made reservations for 7 at 3:30 on Easter, and at 4 o'clock we still hadn't been seated and the manager and the hostess were nowhere to be found because they had a lot of people who hadn't been seated yet, and so after waiting almost an hour with no one to speak to, we left. I know businesses have staffing issues so if that is an issue, then you just shouldn't be open for an important holiday.

We had a reservation at 1pm but didn't get seated until 2pm. I know we had a large party but that's why we made a reservation. Our server Wyatt was awesome.

We went on Easter Sunday for the Easter menu. The drinks and the staff were great, the food was not rave-worthy, but our mimosas were delicious

Signed up for brunch with a reservation at 11:30. Seated at 11:45 only to find out brunch was not an option. Told we were out of the time window for the brunch. Only thing available was the 3 course meal at $35 a head. We left and had a great breakfast at Snooze. Very disappointing.

This was our first time to Mimi's after reading reviews and trying it we will definitely be back. We had Kendra as our waitress and didn't realize until talking with her she had only been there 4 weeks. She was amazing and with the number of tables she had, she did a great job. We started with the spinach dip, orders were the honey walnut salmon, ribeye and chicken parmesan. I also ordered the French Onion soup and it was fantastic. We all shared the butter toffee dessert which was amazing served hot with ice cream. We've been coming to Colorado Springs for 3 years as we have a cadet at USAFA and wished we'd found it sooner. Looking forward to thw next visit. Kendra you did an amazing job. Thank you!
