We had an absolutely amazing experience here today. Jimmy our server was so great. He went above and beyond for us. We were celebrating today so I brought a cake along. He offered to take it to the kitchen and have it sliced for us, then served it to us on plates and boxed up the leftovers. Thank you to the gentleman in the kitchen that cut the cake and made our delicious meal. WE WILL BE BACK! 10 out of 10 all around!

I was there yesterday to meet with 2 friends for Xmas. I was the 1st in my group to arrive. I walked in with gifts and the waitress rushed up to me and asked how many? She looked around nervously and then regrettingly (it seemed) said, "Alright, I'll seat you but you can't stay longer than 15 min after eating". There were plenty of empty tables. It was Monday at 10 am. I asked if I could take my party outside then to the picnic tables if we needed more time to visit and she said, "Yes, but don't expect me to serve you outside and you can't come back inside to use the bathroom." It was the oddest thing I've ever heard and was really very rude. There were lots of empty tables the whole time we were there. I'm not sure if she was the owner or just a waitress but really made you feel like she did not want your business! I won't be going back there.

Had a terrible experience yesterday morning. Our waitress was very rude! This was my second time there. The staff was rude the first time we were there as well but I wanted to give them a second chance. We love to support local businesses and unfortunately we won’t be able to support this one. On a positive note, my biscuits and gravy was really good. Hopefully their customer service will improve. Also, the signs on the tables, the walls, and the front door that say “Please limit your stay to 15 minutes after you eat” do not make customers feel welcome.

Very unprofessional establishment. Worst customer service and RUDE staff. I will never go here again after the way I was treated.

I've been wanting to try this place for quite some time and finally decided to give it a try. The food was absolutely delicious I got the brisket to omelet meal with a cup/ side of green chile and my husband got the ultimate breakfast burrito smothered half-and-half with green chili and country gravy which was also just as delicious. The portions are huge the prices are very reasonable and our server was the sweetest and she was on top of everything for us. This place is definitely a hidden gem, and our new go to spot!

Went over for the first time. Very clean old America cafe. Fresh and delicious! I had the sausage burrito. Outstanding! The green chili is amazing!

Good experience overall. It's a small location, so if you come during a busy time, you might have to wait a bit. When I first got there there I was a little take back by how rushed Sarah, the server, was. However after my experience I realized she was the only one taking care of seating, taking orders, and serving the food. Given that she was essentially a one woman show for the dining room, I would say she did an excellent job. I got the Snow Cap Benedict and would give it a 7 out of 10. Gravy was good, the biscuits were a little too dense and dry. Eggs were good and the bacon was cooked very crisp per my request. Coffee was very weak, but that wasn't what I came for. I would definitely go back and would be interested to try one of their famous huge pancakes (picture from neighboring table.

Wow. I have never experienced a server’s EXTREME condescending rudeness. Because our third person was three minutes away she was not wanting to allow us to remain seated. She very condescendingly informed us that we passed two signs stating that if your full party isn’t there you’re not to be seated. She informed us we had three minutes until we were out. Uh, what?? Claim to fame: now we have been officially kicked out of a joint. Wow. They were about half full, so it would be completely different if you were so busy you had a line out the door, but they weren’t. You lost three local potential families that are all GREAT tippers.Terrible behavior in front of a half full restaurant. Yikes.

Unbelievably rude staff! We were asked to leave because our 3rd person wasn’t present. When we explained our 3rd person was only minutes away, we were scolded and told “you have 3 minutes!” I’d understand if there was a line, but they still had two open tables! Business must be really good when you can afford to turn away locals?

Great biscuits and gravy and the gumbo is awesome.

Find another place. Wife stopped by after church at 11:30 am for a bite to eat. Walking up she was turned away and told they were closed even though hours say 7 am to 2 pm. No explanation given. I understand that maybe they had to adjust there hours for some reason. That’s their business but they might want to share the info instead of a ‘we’re closed!’ Other people sitting outside and eating. It’s a shame because we are new to the area and was hoping to find a quaint place to stop and support small local businesses. Maybe it was her out of state plates. Maybe it was her unfamiliar face. But based on other reviews it seems they turn people away as they see fit. Must be nice to be so successful that they can treat people so poorly. Good luck with that in the long run.
