My Neighbor Felix Colorado Springs

I’m really shocked by the first 5 reviews. I’ve been here at least a dozen times. The atmosphere, food, and staff are great! Love the margaritas, queso, and tacos.

Food was bland and had a weird aftertaste. Very expensive for portions and they don’t even serve ground beef. No chips and salsa for the table and when you order the salsa trio they are weird tasting and you only get a small handful of chips with it. Not impressed.

I expected more bold authentic flavors for the price of the small portions that were served. I requested a side of shrimp for my goddess bowl and they charged us $9 for three pieces of burnt/chewy shrimp. Food was edible and we cleared our plates in all three bites. If we were to come back it would only be for drinks and esthetic.

My wife and I just flew in for our honey moon and found this place through TikTok. We both had Birria Short rib tacos. Best we’ve ever had. Super flavorful and tender. Drinks were strong and not overly done with sweetener. Our server was Nick, he did an awesome job and has really great energy and knowledge of the menu, If you want to have great service and an experience, ask for him. Thanks Nick ?

Nick is an incredible server and person. Thank you first and foremost, Nick, for giving us a great time, interacting with our kids, and just being real friendly.

My first experience here was fantastic. 10 stars. 20. Nick, again, was an awesome server, the manager was polite and generous when needed, the food was exceptional. Thanks, My Neighbor Felix team, for a real nice lunch.

We had the taco twosday special, and got the cochinita pibil, the scrumptious pork ones that won 1st place taco. They certainly were worthy of the spot. Add in the habenero sauce they included (it's a smoky side sauce, my god. Genius.) and I was in heaven. What great Mexican flavors. Not over the top crazy combos of 10 different things coming at you. Just delicious goodness in your mouth. Then they brought the nachos.

When you normally order nachos you think 'some chips, some toppings, all in the right place' but you cannot imagine the TOWER that Felix's brings you. And yes, all the chips have a good amount of toppings on them all. The chips are crunchy, top to bottom and it filled us to the max.

We had a small issue with the first batch of nachos and told Nick. After apologizing, he brought it to the manager. He came right over and apologized again, and we got treated to churros and donuts. Both of them went above and beyond for such a small issue and it was absolutely amazing.

Brunch time service at this location is very good. Our server and host were attentive and pleasant. I haven’t been here during a more busy meal time such as dinner. The atmosphere is modern and clean, and very welcoming.

I had the mahi tacos with breakfast potatoes. Large portions and very tasty. The tacos were very good and not an ordinary flavor. Presentation was pleasing.

I am looking forward to trying their dinner and drink menu. Strongly recommend you try them.

My Neighbor Felix is a Colorado Mexican chain that serves amazing food and even better drinks. There are 3 locations as of the time of writing this review: LoHi, Centennial, Boulder, and Colorado Springs. If you're looking for a spot to relax and have a good meal with a drink or two or to impress a date, I would highly recommend My Neighbor Felix.

First off, the food we ordered was absolutely amazing. Given that it is an American Mexican spot, I will admit that my expectations were set at a moderate level, but I was blown away. We ordered the My Neighbor's Nachos, Salsa Trio with Chips, and Churros. They were all a 5/5 but the nachos in particular were... well just look at the picture attached to this review and you'll get it.

I have to give a shout out to Dannica, the bartender that made our phenomenal drinks, and Abby, our server who never left us waiting. I have been to many bars and have had many drinks made by some awesome bartenders and I can say with confidence that Dannica is a particularly talented mixologist. Whatever drink you want, Dannica will make it and it will be the best version of that drink you've ever had. Abby was the kindest, most attentive server I think I have ever had. She made our experience the best we could've asked for with her personable attitude and professionalism.

I can't wait to be back and based off my experience here, I will definitely be checking out the other My Neighbor Felix locations in the near future!
