Truly, the star of the show was the crab Rangoons. The best I’ve ever had and they use real crab (I didn’t ask to confirm but it definitely tastes like it) Perfectly crispy and the ratio was lovely.

Ramen was fine. My husband ordered the spicy chicken shio, and the broth had a fishy flavor that he hated so we ended up trading. I didn’t mind the broth, but he was right about the fishy-ness. He enjoyed my pork miso that I ordered, and I thought it was the better tasting of the 2. Good amount of spice in both. Overall, not sure if I would return for the $25 ramen.

Service was great. Our server was attentive and friendly, we really appreciated him. If you are dining during a busy time, be prepared to be sitting with other people. The layout of the restaurant is mostly small tables very close together along a long bench. You are sitting inches away from the people next to you. You have to shimmy in sideways to not bump them getting in and out. I can’t be the only one that absolutely hates that.

Overall, I would absolutely return to order the rangoons for takeout. They nailed those.

Wow. I'm impressed. Everything I've eaten here is so, so delicious. The pork in the tonkatsu is probably the best pork I've ever had. The menu is a bit small, but that means it's very focused and you're not spoiled for choice - and, as mentioned, everything is so, so good. The staff was really friendly and helpful, I love the atmosphere, and even the location is nice, despite being downtown. Really, I can't say enough, I seriously recommend if you like Japanese food.

When searching for a tasty savory meal, night ramen truly has plenty to offer in the ways of selection, ambiance, and notably appetizers. To begin with, the name is very fitting. This location is an excellent location for a late night delight with a group of friends or in a more intimate setting. The environment is exceptionally cozy, boasting string lights illuminating an outdoor patio and gentle warm lighting to cast a yellow haze over your dinner table. The decorations are bold and gold (quite literally), and small lights on each table provide much appreciated intimacy within your table group.
Beginning with the appetizers, although not cheap the fried mushrooms are worth every penny. They are fried to a golden brown perfection, and combined with the sauce they are quite pleasing to the palate. I also went with chicken ramen. Despite the chicken itself being slightly overboard in sodium, the ramen overall is very well crafted and will leave you satisfied.
The weakest point, although less important than the actual food provided, was the service. I asked for two bowls for my ramen in order to split my meal, but instead I was served only one bowl. This is a minor inconvenience, of course, but still noteworthy. A similar incident occurred when I asked for a to-go bag. I am willing to overlook these minor setbacks due to the pleasantness of my experience.
One outstanding aspect of the environment which I must mention is the music, which I found to be too loud, sporting an interesting selection as well. These factors slightly reduced the cozy and intimate feeling of the dining experience.
All in all, Night Ramen is a wonderful venue for a late night bite, hence why I am awarding four stars.

Place sucked. Deviled eggs tasted like burnt wet eggs. Ramen was super mid. Staff was meh. The only positive thing was the ambience but it's not enough to come back.

Went here last minute because my daughter loves Ramen, we had her dog with us and thankfully they are dog friendly for their outside seating. They even brought a water bowl out for our fur baby.

$180 for this disappointing dinner? We were the fools once, don't let that be you. The service was practically non-existent, and the server had zero menu knowledge, think first day at a take-out counter. You have to yell to order, and the food delivery person was outright rude, screeching your order like you personally offended them. They handed us American soup spoons, because why serve Asian soup properly? when we corrected them, they brought a long-handled wooden spoon that made zero sense. The food? One lonely bok choy leaf floating in salty, watery broth, and chocolate cake that was still frozen. Crab ragoons were fantastic! So if you were forced to go here, you have a saving grace.
Honestly, next time I want ramen, I’ll just make the instant packet in my cabinet, it’s cheaper, faster, and somehow less disappointing. Avoid this place unless you enjoy paying premium prices for chaos, incompetence, and frozen dessert. Won't return.

Great atmosphere, great drinks. But charging $1.50 for a “side” of soy sauce because the flavor is lacking, is a wild business model.

There’s something about late-night ramen that hits deeper than the broth. It’s not just soup—it’s salvation. Night Ramen in Colorado Springs gets that. They’re not chasing perfection. They’re chasing honesty. And somewhere between the rich murk of the tonkotsu and the electric hum of the open kitchen, they’ve caught it.

The space itself is dim—mercifully so. Concrete floors, a bar that’s seen a few confessions, and steam rising from the pots like incense in a temple built to pork bones and mischief. You come here after a long day or a bad one. You come when you’re half-drunk, half-starved, and tired of pretending you eat clean.

The broth isn’t polite. It’s dense, unapologetic, and sticks to your ribs like a secret you’re not ready to share. The noodles—they’ve got bite. Someone in the back actually cares about them, and that’s rarer than you think. Add the chashu, soft-boiled egg bleeding gold into the bowl, a handful of scallions, and you’ve got a reason to keep living through another Colorado winter.

But what makes Night Ramen worth talking about isn’t the food alone—it’s the mood. The quiet understanding that at midnight, surrounded by strangers slurping in unison, we’re all just trying to fill the same hole.

If you’re looking for something pristine and Instagrammable, stay home. If you want ramen that tastes like someone’s been up since dawn simmering bones and bad decisions, pull up a stool.

Because at Night Ramen, you’re not dining—you’re recovering. And that’s the kind of meal that sticks with you long after the bowl’s been drained.

The decor was great and IG worthy. The staff was kind but the food could be heavily improved upon. Each dish our group of five ordered was over salted and lacked overall. Edible but the cost was too high for the taste.

Delicious ramen, appetizers, and just about anything you can order … everything was super flavorful. Antonia (yes, with an A) was an entertaining server 😃 Great at recommending what would suit our different palettes and playing along with our odd sense of humor. It’s a great place to go for dinner before heading to the Stargazer for a concert

From an Asian perspective, this place is only Instagram-worthy because of the decor and vibe, but not the food itself. If you’ve had real Japanese ramen, this place has failed. The broth tasted like it came out of a Swanson’s boxed broth, the bok choy was overcooked and was drowning in thin sauce, etc. Perhaps this place can learn from exploring Japan or other authentic Asian restaurants because here in Colorado Springs, we need some real culture.
