I've loved their turkey sandwiches, sourdough loaf, rye, and specialty baked goods, like the pull apart mini breads and the cheddar and chili loafs. A special place.

Best bakery in Colorado by far! Freshly milled sourdough and at high altitude, its so hard to replicate at home. Just off the Santa Fe trail so we make a bike date out of it every Saturday morning and the owner is always there with a kind smile. Live orchestra music makes the line go by fast and sometimes there are local fresh flowers available! Better than any of the farmer's markets in town! It's my favorite part of the week. Also, the dark chocolate cookies are the best I've ever had. They are toothy, salty and the chocolate is high quality. LOVE!
Best bread that I’ve had in my 30 years of walking this planet

Love this place. They have some of the best bread I've found in the United States. I now live in Wisconsin but every time I visit family I have to stop and get a half dozen or more baguette. They have a nut bread that my mom loves and my sister goes for their cookies and pastries. Would definitely recommend.

I love Nightingale. I get bread here often, and have tried almost all the pastries. I’m gluten intolerant, but for whatever reason I do great with their bread! Some reviewers noted that you typically have to stand outdoors in line for quite a while, and that’s true. However, for me that’s part of the charm and part of the experience. It means slowing down in life, enjoying the fresh air, being around people and chatting to a friendly person in line. We could all use a little less convenience and more of simply standing still these days. The breads are all fantastic, the pastries too delicious to resist, and the sandwiches crafted with detailed perfection. Everything is amazing!
And as a bonus, the workers are always kind and calm.

Not only is the food exceptional but they gave me free sourdough starter when I brought my own container! I’m addicted to all the food here
Phenomenal bread at a very fair price!
Fantastic experience. We got the seeded red loaf and a few pastries, and they were delicious and very affordable. We got to meet the owner David and he was so kind and friendly. We will definitely be back!
Awesome bakery, better get there early for the full selection

Wonderful bread!!! Great place!! I will be back!!
The feta-terreanean was to die for!!
The sourdough bread is a masterpiece. The pastries are great. But seriously, they have to get better at managing the line. It shouldn’t take 5 min for a single person to place a bread order.
I've traveled a lot and consider myself a foodie. This place makes the best sandwich I've ever had. Spicy Italian - no onions. (Don't worry, it's not too spicy. It really feels like I found a hidden gem every time I order here.
Their bread is also phenomenal. Grab a loaf, get there early before they sell out!
Nothing even comes near this bakery. As a European, I love real, crunchy and moist : quality bread. Absolutely 10/10.
