This is the closest you will ever get to a New Jersey bagel west of the delaware river. I’ve had New Jersey’s finest and New York’s and Olde World is right up there with them. Fantastic!

Just left the new Fountain location and it was absolutely phenomenal!! The ladies working were so friendly and had really yummy recommendations! We were very happily impressed with the size, quality and freshness of the food! It was so clean and inviting inside and it seems that everyone in town is excited for the new addition to our community!! We HIGHLY recommend and definitely will be back!

Busy place, we came ar 1230p and most bagels were sold out. However, and thankfully they had alot of everything bagels (my fave) with garden veggie cream cheese. The cream cheese was clearly homemade with chunks of celery and other fresh veggies. The bagel was crunchy yet fluffy goodness. Best bagel ever. I wanted to give lower stars cause they were out of fruity and sweet bagels but its so good they get 5 stars

Literally being run into the ground by new management. There isn't a time I walk in there when there isn't a line. The new management changed the way food is produced and ordered to make the experience perhaps the worst anywhere. It's truly amazing how worse the place has gotten. Half the time the bagels I want aren't available, as well. If you expect to go in on your lunch hour, expect to spend 20-30 minutes in line waiting to order and another 10 minutes for your food. It's truly insane how this business has declined since Ken owned it. I suspect, if it wasn't for the wholesale orders, the place would have already closed. Sad to see a Colorado Springs landmark being driven straight into the ground. If you liked their bagels before, go in now before they're closed due to mismanagement. I give them two more months. Luckily you can go to Einstein's downtown off of Tejon; they're just as good and managed 100% better. It's funny, the management seems to think bagels are a staple food and not easily replaceable. Years back, maybe it was when management was good and the atmosphere was friendly and efficient.

Dirty tables everywhere. And my large cappuccino was half full. The original glass was presented with no foam whatsoever and liquid only half way. The manager even asked if I had drank it when I initislly approached asking if that was a large. The remake is shown in the photo. In this case, if I was served a beer with half the glass as foam, I'd be angry. I'm not any happier here. Good waste of $5.00. Breakfast bagel was nothing great. At least the Tasmanian was good.
The restaurant initially respibded to my review responded and claimed they were shortstaffed, but I know for a fact that
at least one employee was called off late last night. That's not short employees. That's careless. You know you are busy! I almost came the day before and the line was just as long! So good for you! But then don't shortstaff yourselves and then use it as an excuse! And, yes, the cappuccino was remade and I said it was perfect, but upon looking closer, the liquid only filled the cup slightly over halfway. Half a cup of foam is never acceptable. An inch at most is the standard. I've asked around since. It was my first experience with an iced cappuccino there and "foam or no foam" was not an option. I've been in the food industry. There is no point to keep complaining, especially with the way I was looked at when it was brought to someone's attention. The first drink arrived looking not at all like the second- No foam, just half a glass of liquid. It actually looked half drank by someone else. My table partner can verify every single thing. And, why would you take it away? It's not like you can serve it to someone else. The second glass seemed to be an improvement.... BUT it was still NOT 20oz! Just call it what it is- 12 or 14oz maybe. (See the foam versus liquid in the picture. And, again, that was the second attempt, which was 10 times better than the first cup.) It was an expensive meal and sadly didn't end up being worth it. I appreciate the effort, but dirty tables and a meal served with a sad amount of beverage do not equal a good experience. Just do better and don't cancel employees shifts and use that as an excuse.
Update: Olde World terminated an employee after my review because of our presumed affiliation. They will tell you it was for an unrelated reason, but there is enough proof that could be provided to make the truth visible if asked to prove this. The restaurant's original response to my review was removed at least once and eventually reposted to what it is now. I have no issue with the company. I do, however, now have an issue with the manager, Jen, for her conduct. It was just a drink problem initially, but her reaction to my questioning AT the occurence and then her excuse of a long line and being short employees (like no one had been called off) led to my very negative review. I hope that the owner is aware of how the staffing is being handled. It is truly sad.

I just bought sliced bagels to go. Great counter person. Very good bagels, and probably the best in Colorado Springs, but they’re a little bit lacking something I can’t put my finger on. I also was disappointed that they didn’t sell onion rolls. I will, however, return and give them another try.
