It’s too good to be true. This stuff is amazing and I think witchcraft may be involved. It’s better than other gluten containing breads that hurt me. I struggle to keep away from gluten and just stumbled upon this bakery from their friends at Porkbutt BBQ in Colorado Springs that sale their goods as well. We came out arms full with Outside the Breadbox stuff.
Hamburger buns are the best you'll find anywhere. Good desserts too.
The product got 5 stars up until they started using seed oils!!! They used to use olive oil in all of their breads and now they do a mix of olive oil and seed oil. Read labels carefully! You never know when someone will flip it on you. Seed oils are disastrous for gut health and especially people with auto immune issues. They probably did that to keep costs low, which I get, but we should never be forced to substitute one poison for another for pennies. Now, unfortunately, they are just like any other gluten free bread at the store. They used to stand out. Customer service has tanked as well. The switch between locations is still not complete creating confusion when you ask a grumpy clerk. Frustrating

After visiting a local restaurant who used their products, we wanted to go give this bakery a shot. The gluten free pizza crust was awesome! My picky kids and husband gobbled it up. The gluten free hot dog buns were also good. The only thing that didn't taste as great were the graham crackers but I ate them plain. They might taste better with something on them. I also got a box of gluten free donuts that everyone loved. I wished they had more products but the lady working says those plans are in the works...can't wait! The prices were just right.
As for moldy bread, the lady working said the bread only last a few days due to the whole ingredients. So, we freeze everything and then take out what we need which works out great.
I will definitely be going back.

I love this place and is my go to for all my gluten free / vegan breads, pizza crusts, bagels, etc. I always keep my gf breads in the fridge or freezer after purchasing but they stay just as delicious. Very excited for the future with this bakery!

Small store. Bunch of good stuff. GF.
The bread is amazing. It is, by far, my favorite vegan gluten-free bread.
Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free and dairy-free.
Parking: It is a small parking lot but it is also not busy when I've been. I recommend parking backed in to make departure easier.

This place is wonderful! They always make a great effort to please all customers and continue to do the best even after 15+ years of business. While they do sometimes have limited supply of items in their retail store right now that they’re moving locations soon, they still please me, not to mention the young women that work the retail space are absolutely fantastic and I love to speak to them, especially the manager. This place is wonderful and I think it always will be. p.s if you’re looking for a great snack try their cookies or jalapeno cheddar crackers, those are my fav!!

I ordered bread from them that I received last week. I went to eat a piece for the first time a couple days ago and the bread was already moldy. I sent several emails and no one has responded to me so I called today and spoke to young lady who wasn’t very professional and advised me that there’s nothing she can do since she’s just a retail worker. This is my first order from this company and I’ve heard great things but unfortunately, my experience has not been great and I will not be ordering from them again.

This is a small gluten-free store, but it has a great selection. They were on the verge of a move to North Cascade. (North of Fillmore)
Dietary restrictions: All Gluten free items.

Off the beaten path a bit but SO WORTH IT! The staff is amazingly friendly, the products are all fantastic and the variety and choices are incredible. They will even ship
out of state. The staff provided us with a gf restaurant guide to help us find gf safe options for those of us with Celiac. Incredible humans at Outside the Breadbox, you won’t be disappointed in their service, offerings or staff. I will for sure be ordering to have items shipped to me.

This used to be a great place to buy GF bread products but has really gone downhill in products and service. Hard to get anything fresh. 3-4 day old bread that they sell at regular price. Everything bagels with nothing but poppy seeds on them. Stuff is rude and uninterested, acting like your a bother to them. You're not the only GF Bakery anymore. Will go elsewhere.

I’ve loved all the gluten free products I’ve gotten here so far. I never would have guessed the hamburger buns were GF. It’s sort of a funky little store with friendly twenty-somethings sporting tattoos and nose rings running the place, and doing a great job of it.
