Had a great meal and fun time. The view out the windows was beautiful as the sun went down. Great service, friendly and cooking at the table was unique and fun
We are never in this part of Colorado, but I will be finding reason to come here again. The crab cakes were wonderful and the ribeye was amazing. The spinach salad was great as well!

Steak Diane was so good!! Loved this place!! Don't miss it if you are in Colorado Springs.
No proper ventilation... you're inhaling smoke the entire time and clothes are rekt with it. Fire hazard.... using portable gas stove right next to you...and not an actual fire pit or cook station for certain food they cook in dining area... Like Japanese hibachi but no safety measures to speak of... Food is good...Don't get me wrong....the method of cooking is another story

A restaurant with an excellent view of the city, excellent food, and even better service! Unfortunately, the citizens of our city seem to flock to generic chain restaurants when this gem has been here for about 40 years! This is our go to restaurant for all special occasions and date nights!
We enjoy the Peppertree very time we go to there. The food is excellent and so is the service. It is not cheap, but worth it in the long run.
Amazing food! The staff is always on top of it and very observant. I have gone here for a few years, and they never disappoint on service. There was a loud group, but not really anything you can do about it.

This is my husband's favorite place to eat so we've been here several times. We had birthday dinner reservations at 8p on a Thursday. We were seated next to a large group that consisted of 4 4-tops pulled together to make 2 large tables for 8 people each. This group was so loud because they were talking across to the opposite tables that we could not even hear each other at our table. The large group was yelling, laughing and “cheers-ing” there drinks with each other within their own group of 8 and then to the other half of their group of 8 at the next table over. Their children were constantly walking around all the tables switching whose lap they wanted to sit on and no one, not the adults or staff said a word. At one point, one of the ladies started yelling. When we finally started getting our food at 8:40p, the group finally got ready to leave. The person cooking our food had to step aside as everyone walked by sticking their faces near the food prep area. It was one of the worst experiences we've had there. The food, once we got it, was great but the ambience was terrible. We spent $550 to sit uncomfortably for 40 minutes unable to hear each other talk because of this group. There is a Dress Code & Conduct where there is great detail in the dress code. You should also go into detail for appropriate conduct.
My favorite place in the Springs! I live a block from the Broadmoor and this place has it beat by miles !
A real disappointment. We have been going there since the mid-80's. I ordered veal sweetbreads as an appetizer with the sauce on the side. I expected about 1/3 of a normal order but got a full order with the sauce on top for $34.95. We shared the halibut special - salad looked pitiful split on big plates. Received the wrong side. Halibut was overcooked. No one came to top off our wine. Dress code wasn't enforced - the couple next to us were in shorts and flip flops. My husband's 75th birthday was not very special.
I wanted to take a moment to share feedback about a recent dining experience that unfortunately fell far below expectations.
From the beginning, it felt as though our table was not a priority compared to others. We ordered entrées that were meant to be table-side service. While the cook started our steaks, they were left unattended as the cook spent time engaging with other tables. Every other table received interaction and attention, but ours did not. My steak was also overcooked, which was disappointing considering the quality and price point.
I was also surprised that no one asked about food allergies. As someone with dietary concerns, I would have expected staff to ask and confirm, especially if a guest was questioning ingredients. Additionally, during our meal a spider ran across the table, and when this was brought to a server’s attention, the concern was dismissed rather casually.
The one highlight of the evening was the view, which we appreciated, but overall the service and attention to detail did not meet the standard I would have expected. I wanted to make you aware so that these issues can hopefully be addressed for future guests.
