If you’re looking for a spot that delivers both fresh flavors and generous portions, Pikes Poke Bowl in Colorado Springs absolutely delivers. This is one of those rare places where not only do you leave full, but you also leave impressed by the quality and variety on each plate.

Generous Portions & Fresh Ingredients

Every bowl we ordered came out as a hearty, satisfying portion. The servings are more than enough for one person, making it feel like you’re getting incredible value for the price. Unlike some poke or rice bowl spots that skimp on toppings, Pikes Poke Bowl piles it on whether it’s tofu, chicken, beef, or salmon, you’ll find yourself with a loaded bowl of protein, vegetables, and rice that leaves no room for hunger.

Dishes We Tried:

• Crispy Tofu Bowl – Golden cubes of fried tofu sat atop fluffy rice with stir-fried carrots, onions, green onions, and glass noodles, all balanced with a light soy-style seasoning. The tofu was perfectly crisp on the outside, tender inside, and paired beautifully with the vegetables and rice.

• Salmon Salad Bowl – A lighter option with plenty of mixed greens, fresh vegetables like radishes, cucumbers, edamame, and bean sprouts, topped with chunks of tender salmon. It felt refreshing and healthy, yet still filling.

• Beef Bowl – Generous portions of savory beef mixed with carrots, onions, and rice. The flavor was rich, slightly sweet, and satisfying without being overly greasy—exactly what you’d want in a rice bowl.

• Spam Musubi – A Hawaiian staple done well here. The rice was well-pressed and the Spam had a nice sear, wrapped in seaweed for that perfect salty-sweet bite.

• Chicken Bowl – Juicy grilled chicken over rice with mushrooms, spinach, carrots, and a sesame sprinkle, served with a flavorful dipping sauce. The chicken was tender and well-seasoned, making this one of the standout bowls of the meal.

• Salmon Sushi Toast – A fun and unique option: a crunchy slice of toast layered with rice and topped with fresh salmon. It’s simple, but surprisingly delicious and a nice way to mix up the meal.

Atmosphere & Experience

The casual setup makes it easy for dine-in or take-out. Service was quick, and food came out fresh and hot. The presentation was appealing, and despite the portion sizes, everything was plated with care.

Final Thoughts

Pikes Poke Bowl is a hidden gem for anyone craving poke-style meals, hearty rice bowls, or Hawaiian favorites in Colorado Springs. The portions are extremely generous, the flavors are balanced, and the variety on the menu means there’s something for everyone, whether you’re in the mood for fresh and light or warm and comforting. Highly recommended if you want big portions without sacrificing quality.

I’ve tried ramen from here and it’s really good, but the poke bowl was very underwhelming. Loaded with mayo.

the first time i went here the food was phenomenal and i recommended it to everyone.
The second time I tried to eat from here, I placed a to go order a little over an hour before they close and planned to pick it up at least 30 mins before they close because they are about 25 minutes from where I live but i thought the food was worth it. I get there to pickup my order and they say “oh we had to cancel that order, we don’t have the inventory for it” So I drove 30 minutes for no food and no compensation other than them telling me they couldn’t make my food but they could serve me from the poke bar (i don’t eat raw fish and that wasn’t what i wanted/ordered) But alas, i decided to still give them another chance.
I went there today for lunch around 2:00 placed an order the chicken teriyaki. Only one other group in there and they all got poke so I was the only one who placed a kitchen order. 30 minutes go by and I still don’t have my food, and i see the associate behind the counter eating the macaroni salad that i *thought* she was preparing for my meal that was about to come out. So i go up to ask for an update on my food for her to come back and say “oh your ticket fell and we lost it so your food hasn’t been started yet but we can rush it” absolutely unprofessional, unacceptable & just ridiculous. We are literally the ONLY customers that placed a kitchen order and they clearly weren’t doing anything else, so it seems like the associates just don’t know what they’re doing or want to work. I even attached a picture of how empty it was in there. The food here is great but the employees just aren’t up to par.

I used to really enjoy this restaurant, but my last two experiences have completely changed my opinion.

The first incident was with a takeout order. My wife and I placed an order and drove 30 minutes to pick it up. When we arrived, we were told they couldn’t fulfill it due to a lack of inventory. No one reached out to cancel or inform us ahead of time we only found out after arriving. That alone was frustrating and inconvenient.

Despite that, we decided to give them another chance and dined in today. The restaurant was nearly empty with just one other couple who already had their food. We placed our order and waited… and waited. After 30 minutes, we asked about the delay, only to be told that our ticket “fell” and our order hadn’t even been started yet. They said they’d rush it, but by that point, we were so frustrated.

I’m disappointed to say this used to be a favorite of mine, but I won’t be returning. The lack of communication, accountability, and basic customer service was incredibly frustrating. Unfortunately, this has been one of the worst service experiences I’ve had at any restaurant. And by the looks of the recent reviews left that seems to be a common issue for them these days. Definitely going down hill fast.

Poke and miso soup is good! Lots of options. Also looks like they have nice ramen! Staff were friendly as well.

Recently my husband and I got poke bowls with 3 scoops of protein. ENORMOUS!

First time here and I’ll def come back. The staff were super friendly, good tunes and great food! The price is indicative of portion size and quality of ingredients. Everything was fresh! Looking forward to trying the variety of options.
