The food at this restaurant is fantastic. The trout, rib eye, and chicken were all great, but the tiramisu cheesecake was out of this world. Each dish was prepared and presented perfectly. We will eat here every time we are in Colorado Springs.

Waitress was nice and perfectly accommodating. Just don’t bother making a patio reservation unless you want to sit by the swinging door where food comes out. Food is almost as good as some of the other club houses I’ve golfed at.

Overpriced bar food basically. Even if you’re staying at the resort, none of the restaurants are worth going to (except the breakfast buffet). Waitress didn’t understand when I ordered an Irish coffee off the menu. First brought me just a Jameson neat. Then brought it to me redone which was basically Jameson and some coffee with coffee bean shavings floating on top still.

I took my family to celebrate my college graduation to Gates Grille and everyone had a wonderful time. The scenery is absolutely beautiful and we had a table outside with amazing views. Our waitress was very kind, attentive, and gave us a great experience. The food was excellent and the menu has enough variety to suit everyone's tastes. The restaurant even stayed open late for us because we had booked a reservation on the later side and were extremely accommodating and gracious to do so. I would recommend Gates Grille to anyone visiting or living in Colorado Springs looking for wonderful atmosphere, views of Cheyenne Mountain, and excellent service and food.

Staff was very friendly! Beautiful atmosphere and ambiance. The lemon drop was not sweet at all, but they brought us simple syrup to fix it to which the bartender came out and apologized and said she'd remake them for us. We were fine after the extra sweetness though so we thanked her for coming over. The food was good but not as hot as I'd like it to be when brought out. My asparagus was a little burnt but still edible. Our waiter was great. Can't remember his name. He was an older gentleman. We were celebrating our birthdays and we got to choose any dessert on the menu. We got the cheesecake. It was delicious. Overall, we would return to this restaurant. The friendliness of the staff and the ambiance was top tier.

Food was honestly pretty disappointing for the price. The egg rolls were so greasy when I bit in they dripped grease. Had to ask for a paper napkin to let them drain. They also were mostly wrapping with little filling. The crab cake was a little better, it wasn't greasy but it was very bland and was served with the tiniest bit of sauce. The best part of my meal was the cocktail, so 5 stars to the bartender.

The waitstaff and bartender were great. The food was mediocre, seeming to have less to do with the chef than it did with the food vendor. The afternoon was over 90 degrees and the restaurant itself was hot. All doors were open and not certain AC was working correctly or not. Hopefully, that can be corrected soon. I would try again simply due to the very pleasant staff.
