we were so excited for Rita's to open for the season! This is my first time, but my friend has been multiple times. Erica was AMAZING!!!! She was so knowledgeable about all of the flavors, dessert options, and she let us try tons of samples. I would come back for her customer service alone! The custard is delicious.

Delicious! An interesting blend of Italian ice and custard. The texture is difficult to describe.. kind of like a creamy slushie. I got the blendini here which is like a concrete mixer with Italian Ice.
Why do shops have open hours if they are going to clean up and close as much out as possible before they actually close? Getting tired of this trend and the impatient looks from the staff.

Rita's Italian ice is a pretty large franchise on the east coast. I've been going there for years. I'm so glad that there is one in Colorado Springs.If you've never eaten here, you have to try both the custard, and the Italian ice. They are both wonderful. The best way to try them is to order a gelotti, a layer of custard a layer of ice, and topped again with custard.Their custard is like a really smooth thick creamy soft serve ice cream and is fantastic. Try it today, you'll be glad you did!

Went tonight and ordered a Misto and something new per the suggestion of the employee working there. However, I did not like the new item and immediately told the employee. I was charged for it even though I didn’t like it and was refused when asked if I can have something else made that I actually enjoy which isn’t usually a problem at a place where customers keep a business going. The employee was also passive aggressive and laughing as I left, very unprofessional. Hoping the manager sees this and addresses the lack of customer service professionalism.

First time at Rita's and love it! My wife went with the original vanilla custard and I had the Italian ice with custard on top. Hard to go wrong with either of those as super creamy. Service was almost too quick since this was our first time with all the choices. Probably a good thing we live on the other side of town as would want to stop in too much.
