We’ve eaten here a few times in the past and it was usually pretty good. I mean, it’s bar food, you know? But for some reason it just wasn’t happening for them tonight. We ordered the Tater Tot Fondue for an appetizer and it was good. Tots were crisp. My wife ordered Da Keg Burger w/avocado and I ordered the RB Classic Double Cheeseburger. It was our first time trying their burgers. The fries were fine. And now we come to one of our big pet peeves. Please don’t ask us how we want our burgers cooked and then serve us well done meat. We ordered medium and got well done. On $20 burgers. My wife’s comment was “I can get a juicier burger at McDonald’s”. The ones we got tonight were extremely dry and lacking in flavor.
Our server was good, she came by numerous times to check on us and did take my wife’s burger off of our check (we tip on the full amount because it’s not her fault the kitchen is having problems).
Atmosphere was fine, sports bar type with lots of tv’s.
The carrot cake we ordered to go was burnt. All four layers. Whoever put it together chose to simply cover it with frosting and go ahead and sell it. That may not entirely be Rock Bottom’s fault as a lot of restaurants outsource their desserts. But it was awful. My wife ate two bites and didn’t want any more. I threw the rest of it in the trash.
We may be back someday but I’m guessing we’ll avoid grilled items and the dessert menu.

Sat at the bar tonight and really enjoyed our time here! Denali did an amazing job recommending beers and food we would enjoy! The food and beers tasted great. Thanks to your awesome bartender and kitchen. We will be back!

I took my team of 5 there for dinner last week. The place is cool, and the food was good, but the service was terrible.
Denali was our waitress. She’s not very personable, and was very short with us the entire time. When we finished eating she asked if I needed a to go box. Because I didn’t have much food left on my plate, I said, “Nah it’s not worth it.”
Apparently she perceived that as the food wasn’t good. She immediately became defensive. She brought our six checks to the table in a stack and almost forcefully put them down- didn’t care to hand them out to each of us. So I passed the checks out to my team. We put our cards in our checks and put them at the edge of the table. She came by to get them, and when she brought them back for signatures she did the same thing- plopped them down on the edge of the table in a stack and walked away with no exit greeting or anything.
We’re in town working for three weeks and wanted to be regulars somewhere. It won’t be there.
Denali should consider a course of employment that doesn’t involve customer service.
For the record, I still tipped 20% just hoping there’s a tip share for the cooks, because they did great, but unfortunately the server can make or break a restaurant dining experience. Hints, my two-star rating.

My wife and I have visited Rock Bottom numerous times since they opened. The food quality has been hit-or-miss over the past few years, but we have seen recent improvements, and our recent lunch was great. We always received good service, and that is one reason that we keep coming back. On our last visit, Amber R. was our server. She was awesome! Not only did she provide excellent recommendations, but she was also very personable and friendly. Kudos to Amber R.

Very disappointed.
We first came here in 2024 in June when I was here for the PPIHC race and the service and food were amazing, so naturally when we came back this year I wanted to bring my family.
Well we arrived about 5:30, wasn’t crowded we thought great.
Well it took our waitress 15 minutes to get our drink order, then almost 40 minutes before we got our food ordered.
She wasn’t not very attentive drinks had run empty and the annoyance level was high, but we stuck it out.
Finally our food came, my son ordered boneless wings the plate was hot but the chicken was room temperature at best, middle child had a burger and said it was decent and warm. The steakhouse salad was probably the worst part, hot lettuce because the plate was hot but the steak was stone cold. My wife’s French dip was ok but bland to her.
Now I know “you should have said something” we would have, but we had driven from Texas and were just wanting to eat and get back to the hotel and go to bed by this point it was almost 7:30 we had been there almost a full two hours.

For the price we paid we expected more, I had raved about this restaurant their food and service for the last year to my family and it was a complete let down, dominos pizza would have been a better option.

Beer was good, food, not so much. We had two cobb salads $20 each and a chicken fried chicken also $20. I would have paid $5 for the Chicken fried chicken. It was like a piece of leather. Probably sat there since lunch and just refired to warm it up. Green beans looked like they were ran through the dehydrator. The salads were the size of a side salad and almost all iceberg lettuce. Definitely not worth the $80 plus bucks we spent. I really was hoping it was going to be better but now I know why it wasn't crowded..... Live and learn.

Meh. Came here because I wanted a steak and Texas had a line outside the building. We should have waited at Texas. Order 12 oz ribeye-seemed like poor grade of meat, mash potatoes were cold with a crust on top, green beans cold. Other entree was chicken fried chicken. Chicken was oddly shaped so half was cooked into oblivion. Super salty, same sides…all cold. Now we know why the restaurant was at most 20% full.

Waitress in the bar didn't even know that Avalanche was a beer. She seemed clueless when I asked if they had Breckenridge Avalanche. Ive been here a few times and have been unimpressed with the wait staff. Also, the receipt says they have an app for rewards, but no app can be found in the Google app store or via the url on the receipt. The menu is also very hard to read under dim lights in the booths at night. Poor font for readability and small print.

Typically, I go with the half order of loaded nachos but decided to venture out and try the chicken tenders. They were very thin and skinny and were definitely overcooked. I would not recommend this dish for $18. mThchild's kids' meal was a more quality meal for $7. The server was very polite and often checked on the table, and the restaurant itself is a laid-back environment. It was relatively busy but was not overwhelming!

Called last night (9/24/2024) at around 7:15 to find out how long the wait would be for a table for 6. The terse, angry woman who answered the phone responded with a snort and "there's no wait, ever. It's just how it is here" I was caught completely off guard, both by her statement and by how completely rude she was. We decided to just go across the street to Texas Roadhouse, at least they're nice there, even if you have to wait for a table, and I'm sure they actually appreciated our $435.00 tab and the $150.00 tip we left.

The reviews for this place are pretty rough, specifically about the rude staff, you'd think they'd do something about that.

In reply to your generic, nonsense response. There will be no "next visit" and your inability to actually reply regarding your rude staff, shows why this place will soon close. Hope they all enjoy unemployment! Cheers!

Andrew was like Patrick swaze from road house. There were hooligans causing a scene and he jump kicked them, I was so proud I called him son for the rest of my dining experience, I
am in fact childless in reality.

Wow! First off let me say, the experience was so awesome! However, the service was impeccable...ANDREW was so attentive, predicting our needs, and SO charismatic! I never thought I'd tell my daughter to get a guys number, but Andrew left me no choice. If my daughter isn't coming back, I know I'll be.
