This place has been a favorite of mine for many years. I pick up hombrew supplies from the Winery around the corner, and then I stop in for a pint. Military friendly and great beer.

We went during a slow time. People were friendly but preoccupied with a few regulars I assume. Beer is okay, nothing special but not bad. But it is expensive.The seating setup is odd too. I guess it's just not my cup of tea. Not bad overall just didn't fit me.

Well the experience was nice until the owner (older gentleman) decided to give me a hard time. Why? Because I purchased a few cans of a beer from their cooler (that was not available on tap) to try on a recommendation. He apparently had a problem with me because i purchased his canned beer and wanted to drink it there? I was in the middle of being rung up by the barkeep when he confronted me and made a big scene, including making several belligerent comments which I'm not even going to get into......I think he was probably drunk but either way, they lost my business. I draw the line when I start getting chewed out while giving my money to a place. If I'm breaking the rules just ask me politely you know?
