Aloha!!! If you want great Hawaiian grindz this is the place for you! If your curious on what Hawaiian food is ..just stop on by and get you kolbi or katsu plate or both you know whateva floats yah boat! Lol this place is so close to home haven't had true Hawaiian island food in a long time until I heard about them. Usually, me and wife order to-go through door dash but this time we were in the neighborhood and stop to get grindz here. It was exactly what I expected it to be..nothing but aloha!!! Also heard they will be out of town for two months and tomorrow 11/7 is the last day of selling food until they come back. Was kinda sad to hear that cus I'll be moving to NZ in January but man... Mahalo for serving up the community with great Hawaiian food!!! 🫡 We appreciate you guys!

Wow I bought 7 plates to support locals especially the chef from wauanae like me. I loved the food when I ate in with the family. Im coming from pueblo so I picked 7 plates. Grandsons enjoyed th we ir jatsu and husband never complained about his kalua combo. My son enjoyed his garlic shrimp. What we all agreed is the rice that is scattered and soggy because its under the meats. We like it nice in scoops. It looked sloppy . Also my kalbi was burnt!. And why mostly bones. Im pissed bc you all were nice and I enjoyed the food eating in. But today, we picked up and trusted due to package tied in knots. Im sorry but I will never return

The cutest mom and pop shop I’ve ever been to!! The food was AMAZING, the service was incredible and personable. We’re only down here for a couple of days, but have to come back in January and we will definitely be coming back! 15/10 would recommend!

I had tried other Hawaiian chains, but they don’t compare to this! I love getting their chicken katsu, it’s so crispy and delicious and their spam musubi is so flavorful! And the Mac salad is perfection. Staff is so friendly and so welcoming! Highly recommend.

Very casual, delicious, friendly staff. We were with a friend who was born and raised in Maui and she was very happy. Garlic shrimp was great!

My friends who spent many many years in Hawaii just took me here and it is definitely authentic Hawaiian food! The staff are super nice and it’s a beautiful experience inside. Not a lot of room to sit down though, so you might want to arrive before the crowd.

Love this place! I featured them on Americas Best Restaurants last year and was in town to stop by to see Mama D, unfortunately they were closed. Best place to eat in the states!

Parking is nearly unsafe with no parking lot and street parking is dangerous at this intersection downtown. I recommend parking elsewhere and walking to the restaurant.

Super friendly staff! I’m pretty certain it’s family owned and ran which I love. Food was very good, fairly priced, and great portion sizes. Support local!

It is a small, comfortable place. Had the Kalua Pig. I forgot to take a picture because I just tried the food and couldn't stop until it was done. Good portions and very friendly atmosphere, fast service and just amazing.

- I happened to pass this place on a business trip to Colorado Springs, and I’m really glad I did. Aloha is proudly served here, right from the moment you walk in. The staff are warm, and the family running the place greets you with a big smile.
They helped me pick a meal that matched my curiosity and appetite—half loco moco and half Kalua pork. The flavors were fantastic, tasting like a sunny day in Hawaii.

It’s a tiny spot with no outdoor seating, but it’s clear this place is cared for with love. Cozy, welcoming, and totally authentic. If you’re ever in Colorado Springs, give it a shot. It’s a little gem that transports you to the islands. 💖
