So we’ve been coming to this boba place for years and always order the same drink a taro milk tea boba. We have never had any complaints! Today for some reason the workers claimed that our drinks do not come with boba and did not put any boba in our ordered drinks. Our immediate response was since when… the only reason we go to a boba place is to get a boba drink. Not happy with the service.

This place is on my boba tea shop rotation. What I love the other non-milk tea options here too, in case you want boba milk tea but you have someone with you that's not a fan of it themselves. Lots of topping options too!

Only time I’ve ever had boba pearls that tasted “green.” Like grass, or maybe something less palatable? I pitched it at a gas station trash can.

I used to love Royal Tea when they first opened. My favorite is the cream cheese smoothie so everytime I crave for it I would go there. Lately though the quality of the service has gone downhill. The last time I was there they opened very late like 11:15am supposedly at 11am according to their website and door signage. Okay no big deal! Today ( Saturday March 02, 2024) I went there to get some boba and I drove all the way from the south to get it. I arrived there like 10:45am I waited outside until 11am which is the time they supposedly open. At 11 am I stood by the door and this guy came out and told me that they dont open til 12! I was furious. Like online thing says its open as well as the door signage and being open an hour later is unacceptable! Its bad for business! It was the same guy that always messes up my drinks too. Lately the quality of the smoothies are not like it used to be. Sometimes I get it so bland and has some big chunks of ice on my smoothie depending on who makes it.

This is a small but very pleasant establishment with exceptionally friendly staff. I tried their coconut tea, and it was delicious. I have to say that this place has the best black tapioca bubbles yet. They are soft, chewy and taste really good. Black Tiger is quite rich and sweet. I'm glad that there are options for less sugar and ice. I don't like my tea to be super sweet like a milkshake. I'd recommend ordering in the store not online through a third party because you might get charged more. They have many options so I'll check out other kinds of drinks there again.
