Came down for the 45th Colorado Springs Liftoff. Late night dinner at the bar waitress was great.
Ate here three times while on site, food was good, wait staff not so much. The first dinner our waitress was good, but seemed a bit overwhelmed. The following two breakfast, we couldnt get coffee or tea refills nor our check. Even when trying to talk to the waitress from a few feet away she'd turn away and ignore us. Hard to finish up and move onto a convention session when you can't get your bill.
The staff was extremely friendly especially Jay. The buffet wasn't the worst in the world. I had higher expectations due to the great atmosphere. We would go back.
Good food and marginal service. I expected better food and service in the Elegante.
Jay- the waiter is amazing. Overall the management seemed to be unprepared for the number of folks but the food was good and if you got Jay as your server the service was amazing.
Our room was absolutely un acceptably dirty. Located fingernail clippings and the amount of dirt and dust made it look like the room hadn't been cleaned in at the very least, weeks if not months. When the front desk staff was notified, they attempted to argue and say it had been cleaned. The lobby and event portions were very neat. The indoor pool was okay but again, it looked as if they didn't maintain the cleanliness at all.
It was nice being with a party as the fellowship made the experience bearable. But the room didn't have working fixtures nor T.V. We paid for Premium. The pool was at least chlorinated, but the concrete was stained and dirty looking, ran down and seemed broken everywhere. The premier lounge breakfast was gross and stale. Dog pooped 8n hallway, someone cleaned up p**** left skid marks and p*** in trash can over 36 hours later still smelled awful waiting for elevator. For volume of people visiting and proces paid, they need more staff. Couldn't get towels in a timely manner, due to not having staff. Bar was not staffed, entire hotel dirty.
Poor buffet setup for a 4 star hotel and non concern for gluten contamination or having more than 4 choices to choose from in the buffet. 2 meats and 2 sides. Non of which I could eat.
Typical Colorado springs service management needs to be fired that's the best they can do to hire people for service the buffet was okay but they couldn't even bother to fill up the coffee
Inside Hotel Elegante. Absolutely delish food & good service. A great place to in we find after 700 mile drive before crashing.
Restaurantji Recommends
Was there for a conference so people lined up around meal times to get into the restaurant. The restaurant did a very good job at getting everyone seated and taken care of in the time we had allotted - not to mention, the food I had was to my liking.
good food and good value. friendly staff.
Excellent breakfast buffet and nice place for a quiet family dinner. Everything I tried was very good and the staff was friendly.
My husband had the boneless wings, our daughter ordered the Rocky Mountain mac 'n cheese, and I ate the steak quesadilla. Everything was phenomenal! I would recommend this restaurant.
The food itself was about comparable to a Denny's breakfast but with a bigger price tag. These things would have been much easier to swallow (holy funny punny batman?) had the staff not been so rude and impersonal through the entire process. Alas, nowadays it seems to be the case more frequently than not.
