Sandy's Restaurant

Stopped in for breakfast and ordered the Hasty Burrito. It came with eggs, sausage and onions, smothered in green chile and cheese. The burrito was pretty good, as were the hash browns (nice and crispy). Prices are good for the portion size. Service was good. Restaurant was clean.

Great old school diner. The pancake was massive and was the perfect consistently as far as dense but fluffy. Great butter and syrup. It was also the size of a large plate but was only $3 which is nuts. The breakfast skillet also was great but could have used a bit more cheese. Definitely a greasy spoon spot and worth going. Cool location just off the highway in an old house with counter seating.

I had the Hangover Skillet with green chili and country gravy. It was the best skillet I have ever had. This was my first time coming to Sandy's. The owner was kind to give me some of their famous cinnamon rolls for free. That was very unexpected and made my day (especially since my dog Willa Beast got sprayed by a skunk this morning). I will be back!! Best food ever as well as hospitality!! God bless you!! Thank you 😊

Service was amazing and the atmosphere was great! The food was okay overall. My wife got the bacon chicken quesadilla, which was very good. I got the hangover skillet, hardly any sausage or bacon. Mostly was just potatoes and watery green chile.

Everyone here was amazing. They walked around giving our freshly baked cookies just because. (Yes, the cookies were delicious) We took home cinnamon rolls to go and, even though I don’t particularly like cinnamon rolls, they were insanely good. They had a wonderful cream cheese icing. We’re from out of town but absolutely plan to come back. Everything on the menu sounded delicious, plus we sat in front of the kitchen and everything that came out looked amazing.

This place has it all! Incredibly quaint and intimate atmosphere, friendly and capable staff, top notch food (servings are really big too!) and very reasonable prices. If you're going to visit Colorado Springs, this is the place to go, at least to try it once!

A Peterson Space Force Base staple. If you live in the area and haven't stopped by, it's a must. Been here for years and still great!
