Our server Brandon was absolutely excellent. He was not only friendly and attentive but also especially thoughtful and respectful toward senior guests. His recommendations were spot-on, and his warm demeanor made our whole family feel very comfortable and well taken care of!
Our first trip here was NOT a disappointment. Everything was beautiful. We were lucky enough to eat at the 1858 restaurant. My husband and I both had the bison burger, and it was fabulous. We sat at the bar, and our bartender was FABULOUS!! funny, attentive and every question we had they answered. Will definitely make this trip again.
Loved the classic trout and the ambience. Would definitely return. The service was wonderful.
Rating only based on our inability to get there. We had a 11:15 reservation. We were told to plan 45 minutes to get from parking to the restaurant (due to shuttle buses). We have been waiting in line for an hour now and still not on a shuttle. Won't be on a shuttle for at least 30 minutes more. Terrible
Beautiful atmosphere. They don’t allow dogs.
Place is beautiful. Food was alright I definetly have had better for a cheaper price hate to say it but its true! The reason for the 1 star is the service man from the hostess to the waiter So snotty so rude like fix the attitude please! Will return to seven falls but not this place. I rather pack a sandwhich and some salad and we are happy as can be. Service ruined the day due to being felt like WE are the inconvenience 😳
The restaurant, location, view, and service was excellent. The only shock and disappointment was that we had to pay $21 ea. (Senior rate) just to enter Seven Falls where the restaurant is located. I entered the restaurant address on google maps thinking we would just drive there, but instead we were taken to a parking lot and shuttled 15 minutes to the Park entrance and from there we had to walk 15-20 minutes up to where the restaurant is. None of this was indicated on the restaurant website when I made the reservation. However, seeing the Falls is well worth the trip. Our waitress Charlotte (from New Zealand) was personable and gave excellent service.
Really wonderful experience. The Broadmoor has done a great job transforming the space and the limited menu is charming.
Food took a while to get delivered. Went for the views and table was in a place that only viewed wall and hostess station. Glass of wine was fine until the last drink was more sediment than wine. Sounds like an exacerbation but I had to spit it into my napkin as I couldn't choke it down and somehow my wine was a solid. Billed as fine dining experience in a beautiful setting. Unfortunately it was neither
It took over an hour to get our food. It was great, but waiting that long was ridiculous. Hopefully they can communicate how long things are going to take when people order.

The experience was very touristy, but a really unique and beautiful setting. The trek to get there was easy, you park ata nearby CO Springs lot and a shuttle brings you up to the entry gate. The shuttle drivers were very friendly. The most notable thing about the restaurant was the extremely friendly service by every single person that came to the table. They were knowledgeable and made you feel like they were happy to be serving you. The food was decent, but my trout wasn't really amazing. Not overcooked at all which was nice, but for the price I thought it was average. The other 3 people got the 12 oz steaks and they were a touch overcooked and just okay at the $59 per price point. The bread and cornbread were delicious, the trout dip amazing as well as the kale salad. I would definitely go back with folks from out of town as the falls were gorgeous and it was a different dining experience. Just wear tennis shoes....
Food was underwhelming. Tried to sit us in front of the bathroom when restaurant was almost empty. Had to ask for a steak knife when eating steak. Drinks were way overpriced. Waitress was sweet when she showed up.
Every time I visit there is NO disappointment. Service was amazing, food and drinks were even better. Accommodation for my elderly grandparents was also fantastic.
The restaurant is very beautiful. It had very little patrons on a Saturday. If you do make reservations, you may want to show up for the bus ride at least an hour before the reservation. There was a large line to get on the bus, and they dropped you outside the gate unless you stayed at the hotel. They drop you off on the other side of the gate if you stay at the hotel. I went with my elderly parents who walked at their pace all the way up the hill. The walk is beautiful. The service at the restaurant was not great. The staff did not take the orders correctly. They forgot drinks. The food was OK. It was not exceptional, but it wasn't terrible. The ambiance was delightful. It could have been worse, but it definitely could be better.

The service was friendly and attentive. The menu is unique and cocktails were very good. The coleslaw tasted old and the buffalo burger meat was not freshly prepared. The Pikes Peak or Bust Nachos were excellent. Be prepared for a 20% service charge on every table, regardless of party size. For example, our receipt showed: sub-total $150.00, PIF (public improvement fee) $0.00, tax $9.24, 20% service charge $30.00, tip said $0.00, so it was confusing if we needed to leave a tip. At all Broadmoor restaurants (this one is owned by Broadmoor), the service charge goes into a pool for restaurant employees and not wholly to your server. We had to look this up as it is deceiving at face value. So if you want gratuity to go directly to your server, you will need to tip additional on top of the 20% service charge. We loved the ambiance but will not return due to the high cost. One kids salad, one bowl of soup, one burger, one appetizer, two cocktails, one glass of wine, one beer, one lemonade totaled $189.24 without an additional tip, which we did end up leaving, making lunch $200.00.
Kid-friendliness: Offered kid's menu with good variety.
