Looking for ribs today and I found it.Surprised it was not packed high quality food.Good variety on menu.I chose the 3 piece ribs w/ red beans rice (just a little dry but good),greens which were very favorable.The ribs were very meaty and tender with a slight tangy taste.Waiter was very pleasant to meet thorough.Did not sit for long before my order was up.Already let a person know they need to try it.

Colorado Springs ONE AND ONLY soul food joint (and not "soul food inspired" like all these gentrified hipster spots) genuine and delicious soul food like gramma cooks. The menu features such hits as Kansas City style BBQ ribs, fried catfish, pulled pork sandwich, hot links, wings, AND GREENS!!! Don't let me forget about the greens!!! Swear to god these greens are the truth!!! It's a nice little hole in the wall, easy to miss BUT YOU DONT WANNA MISS OUT!!! While your smacking your lips on some Shandelicious BBQ ribs they've got a well-curated playlist of funk, R&B, and slow jazz playing to tap your toes to. You haven't lived until you've had some BBQ to sweet sounds of Marvin Gaye. The food is all hot, fresh, and made to order, and I cannot overstate this enough: SEASONED PERFECTLY!!! So many would be "soul" joints skimp out on the seasoning, but Shandelicious has PLENTY. They've got a full bar, friendly staff, and at night they're a jazz and funk nightclub that keeps playing all the hits. 10/10 dining experience, bring the whole family and support black owned business! Oh, and did I mention they have Red and Purple Kool-Aid? If I haven't convinced you to get up and head over there, why you still reading???

The brisket seemed to be burnt ends, which is a plus for me. Pulled pork was great. And the fried catfish is why I'll be back, that and the huge portions.
Customer Service (Owner). Trying to help support a black owned business, but get cussed at/out by black owner. Not professional at all. If you go there plz do not ask/conversate with owner he is really rude, made my experience to where I will not spend anymore of my money at his business... Thanks for the terrible experience owner but your food is definitely good. Shouldn't have to go through your bad day if I'm spending money....

I’m gonna be real, I did not expect a lot from this spot. But holy cow was I wrong! These dudes brought out the A game! The fish is fantastic, their dirty rice is without a doubt the best I have had in this state!Super friendly staff made my visit very awesome! Bigs ups fam!
