The worst fried rice in internet reviews.

My husband and I tried Shangri-La based on recommendations from his coworkers. We were blown away even going in with high expectations. We had the crab rangoons with the sweet and sour sauce. They were AMAZING. The rangoons were super light and crispy and the filling was great. Hubby had the combination fried rice which had a great ratio of meat to rice and vegetables and everything was cooked perfectly. None of the meat was chewy and the rice tasted super fresh, not stale like some fried rice tastes. I had the Mongolian beef which was delicious. The beef was cooked great, super tender and very flavorful. The sauce was a good balance of flavors, not too salty but definitely not bland. Hubby also got some of the wonton soup. It was good. He said it tasted different from other kinds he’s had (still good just different) because they use a pork stock instead of chicken and you can tell the wontons are handmade. For dessert we got the lychee fruit. I have never seen it offered anywhere before so I was very excited to get it. It tasted great! Hubby- who had never tasted it before- described it as tasting like a sweet ripe pear with the texture of a grape. They were delicious and I highly recommend trying them if you e never had them before. Our waitress Tammy also made our night amazing. Super personable, nice, funny and made sure our food didn’t have an allergen in it. She was super great about checking in on us, giving suggestions, and made us just feel incredibly welcome like we were regulars. Overall we enjoyed our dinner thoroughly and will absolutely be back!

While the food is decent, their customer service leaves a lot to be desired. I am not a fan egg rolls and asked for 2 ragoons in place of the egg rolls, in the past this was not a problem, however they only gave me 1 the last couple of times I got to go orders. Will be finding a new Chinese place next time I want Chinese food.

Great food, service and atmosphere. Carl was amazing and very attentive. My new favorite Chinese restaurant.

I’m only leaving a poor review in hopes that they can change the way they make their fried rice.
I ordered shrimp fried rice. The rice was way too dry and chewy to even eat. For $19 it was definitely disappointing and not worth it in the slightest.
It seems like they use more than a day old rice which makes it inedible.

One of the best Chinese restaurants in town. Great for a family dinner or a business lunch. Full bar with a good selection.

Food is good but inconsistent. I order Mongolian beef which is a spicy dish of beef, onions and green peppers traditionally. On occasion they throw in carrots, other times mushrooms, some times it a whole onion with little to no beef. It's disappointing because when they get the dish right.. the food is great. Restaurants is clean but lacks atmosphere. Restrooms are clean.

My daughter took me to eat on December 24 for my birthday. We had been coming to this restaurant for almost 3 years, i always bring my family and friends here to eat, They know me when I come in the door with my family or friends. I had rdered the chicken & veggies combo mea l for dinner. I was very disappointed. The chicken was fatty and mushy. It did not have the same texture as chicken. There were very few vegetables and the portion was like a lunch meal. I complained to the manager "Tammy" about the meat being fatty and too mushy soft. Tammy stayed that it was supposed to be soft and she would mention it too the cook. She seemed to disregard my complaint. She brought over the bill & takout boxes. No appology, i'm sorry you didn't enjoy your meal, offer a substitute meal or take the meal off our table. Saddly I won't be retuning to this restaurant with my family or friends....they lost a good paying customer due to the lack of concern and the quality of the meal I received!

The people who work here are sweet and nice. Tbis is an ownership issue. Bad owners. Very bad owners.

Asked about the 2%. Said it would not be an up charge then charged it. They fixed this in the end.

The portion size is half that of Xangs Kitchen at stetson Hills, and the price here is higher than Xangs. $15 for "lunch special" and its tini portions. Soup cup is half the size. Just try and compare.

This is a rip off business.

It's this nickle and diming that is criminal, and businesses should not be allowed to vary the payments after quoted price.

Just don't shop here

It is SUPER OVER PRICED AS WELL.

I recommend Xangs kitchen.

The service was great, the server and host were very friendly and on top of it. The restaurant was quite deserted, which is odd on a Friday night. I can see why. The food was not good at all. Let’s start with the positives. My friend and I got the dumpling appetizer, which was fine. They were kind of cold, but the sauce they came with was fine. I got the wonton soup, which I can say was the best part of the meal. Now the negatives: our mains (sweet & sour chicken, teriyaki chicken, and beef chow mein). My friend said the orange chicken tastes positively disgusting, and my teriyaki chicken tasted more like strange barbecue than anything else. The chow mein was fine, but the beef was very salty. Also, we got pretty meager sides of rice to go with our large plates of food. Honestly, I hate to give this place such a bad review because the service was very good. But, bad food is bad food.

Great place. Super food and amazing service (albeit we were there at a slow period). I had read in another review that they had a separate vegan menu. When we went in, I asked about plant based options and the very knowledgeable gentleman (probably owner or manager) made some suggestions. They he said he would go get the vegan menu. He couldn’t find it, so we just ordered what he recommended. It was really a great experience. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place.

Vegetarian options: Just asked. Very plant based friendly.

Worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. vegetables were cooked to a mush and the sauce was disgusting. I got tofu and it was still cold in the middle, and the “fried rice” was just brown rice with a few bits of egg tossed in it. It was so gross I threw it away, even though I was really hungry.
