I hope you're ready for a unforgettable luncheon.
I got a cup of coffee, three eggs, four pieces of bacon, and one pancake and paid $22 with a tip $25. They asked if I wanted the bacon soft, medium, or hard? I ordered it medium, and it came out as crispy as bacon could get. I would hate to see the hard cook bacon. I asked if I could substitute my potatoes for pancakes and they said no substitutions. You would think for $22 I could substitute potatoes with dry pancakes. The pancake is huge but probably one of the driest pancakes I've ever eaten in my life. I've come to terms with there are no good breakfast joints in Colorado Springs. These kind of luncheonette are designed for elderly people with no taste buds.
Very chill spot and great food
Good food and she did a great job keeping my coffee full and was very friendly
So much personality in a mid-sized diner. A bit of nostalgia, lots of tables, and a happy, busy staff. Sit at the horse shoe counter or help yourself to a table. Either way, you'll be part of the atmosphere. I took a chance on corned beef hash and won. Delicious 😋 Their coffee was also very enjoyable. It paired very well.
Half queen on turkey Thursdays are the best

It’s always an amazing meal.
The place is always filled with regulars and the serving never leave you hungry when you leave.
I have been coming to Sheldon’s since I was a kid.
Food is always good. Wait staff are friendly and helpful. Can get crowded but wait times are usually short. Homemade fries. Yum.

Fantastic place for good old fashioned, nostalgic comfort food. Biscuits and gravy are top notch, nothing like it out here in Colorado. If you want country gravy like this head east of the Mississippi River. Staff was on it despite the place being packed for a late Sunday morning breakfast. Kudos to the line cook, wait staff and everyone in between that made me an outstanding meal that reminded an Ohio River Valley boy of home.

Remind me as a kid 60 years ago with my dad and Grandpa stopping along the road at Little Diners. It has that atmosphere, one of a few places, that serves SOS and chip beef
