Was served raw chicken. When the plate was taken back I requested the new plate without the chicken. They still charged me full price. Manager never bothered to apologize. We were a table of 10 and another person at our table was also served undercooked chicken. Not acceptable when you are spending $100 for 2. Our waitress was amazing and was the only one that cared.

Walked in at 12:45 pm on a Sunday and was offered their Brunch Buffet. The food was not delicious and very many of the options had run out and was not going to be replenished. I had an unremarkable omelet and sausages. Very disappointing, especially at $55 per person. Only bright spot was our server. Will not be back.

Sunday 1pm brunch buffet $55 per person. Most of the trays were empty. What was there wasn't that great. Would not go back.

Very impressive, food had a little heat to it. Shrimp and grits was great, highly recommend the etoufee over the gumbo.

Had the new Shrimp & Grits for dinner and liked the new flavor! The grits were creamy and delicious, and the shrimp were cooked perfectly. Also had the Trio which was great to try 3 different dishes, accompanied by the jalapeño cornbread. Very tasty! Cassidy suggested the crispy Brussels and the the had a hint of citrus. Yummy. Very personable service ??. Will be going back soon!

Our table was dirty when we were seated. Our server was so nice. Ordered ettoufee it was ok would like a little more rice. Also ordered catfish as an appetizer. Says catfish on the menu but it should be labeled as catfish nuggets or catfish bites. Anywho my fish was RAW!!! Place has a lot of potential would love to see them improve.

Very much wanted to like this place. Went out for Valentines and had a reservation for 7:15 but wasn’t sat until around 7:45, and only saw our waitress 3 times during the entire meal. I understand it’s a holiday and the restaurant is going to be busy, but that’s what reservations are for.Besides the shoddy holiday service, the food was also severely lacking. If you’re from Colorado, this Cajun food will probably obliterate your taste buds because you think salt is spicy, but there isn’t much authenticity to this food. Most of the flavors are there but the execution is way off. I ordered the trio sampler thinking I’d have a good array of options. The etoufee is not served with rice, and if you order shrimp or crawfish, it’s served on the side not in the dish. The gumbo was literally just roux with 4 onion pieces and a singular sad sliver of a piece of celery. The beans and rice were good enough, but on the side was served the smallest portion of cornbread you could imagine. 3ozs maybe? Maybe it was an off night, but this was the worst way to dine over $100 between two people.

Went out to a restaurant on Valentine's for the first time with my wife. Our experience here convinced us we'll never do that again. Couldn't get a water refill even after asking. Food was borderline lukewarm coming out, we were worried one of the guys busing was legit injured, or drunk. Insanely mediocre for 150$.

I was super eager to try this place due to the reviews but, as much as I hate to say, I was very let down with the food. We love food and we love to spend money on good food. The server, Abby, was fabulous and my cocktail was fine. We got the chicken and waffles appetizer and it was fine, though maybe lacking some spices on the chicken or in the batter.I got the BBQ chicken and was very disappointed. For a $26 plate of BBQ chicken I expected at least bone-in but it comes with two chicken breast cutlets that are grilled and brushed with sauce, and because they were cutlets they were DRYYYY…. Came with “voodoo” rice which I felt was lacking flavor, as well, but had a smoke flavor I guess? Brussel sprouts were barely cooked and very tough to cut through. My boyfriends meal, the pork chops, was good and he finished it.Overall, I would not go back. Disappointed.

During the Superstars Writing Seminar, we made a new friend from Australia who had never really experienced "American" cuisine. So we decided to take her in search of several flavors available to us in Colorado Springs. We ate there one night, and sampled several things. Her biggest surprise was the catfish. Damned good and went well with the jalapeno cornbread. Then we found out about the low country boil they did on Saturday, and oh my, was it freaking good. Nearly as good as my own boil, but I'm a fire eater, and like mine a wee bit more spicy than most folks. Otherwise, damned good vittles. Chef was freaking awesome, and the band playing Saturday evening just made the whole vibe perfect for our Australian friend.

The food was exceptional: shrimp and grits, shrimp and crawfish etouffee , and the shrimp dip. Will be eating there again.

The serving of Gator Bites was a bit small. I was served shrimp etouffe instead of crawfish but they then replaced it with the correct order, which was excellent as always, although the sauce was not as thick as usual. But, it was Fat Tuesday and they were busy so I can overlook the mistake. The Old Fashioned cocktail is great.
