A bit small but if you go when it's not busy there's a place to sit and eat. One of only two places that I will go to get a Chicago dog that is authentic.

i was so hungry and only had 3 bucks to my name i thought no way would i have enough but i walked in met the owner -nice lady working by herself and i showed her all i had was 3 bucks and she waved her hand down and picked up my money and said ,"what do you like" ? i didnt no what to order so she had me sit she would surprize me i said ok and she called me up and said try.it was amazing!!!! i go there all the time now the owners english is not real clear but her heart is in the right place and she takes her time because she wants perfection from what she serves yuuuummmmm!!!!!

Overpriced for decent dogs. But had to wait over 10 mins after I placed order for 2 hot dogs bc she had to microwave everything before making smh

Spud Melvin's is awesome. The owner is a wonderful lady, the food is exactly as described. The restaurant encapsulates Chicago hot dog stand. Very cozy environment with great hot dogs.

Stood there for 10 minutes, person workin did not even care I was standing there. Guess there don't care if they get customers or not. I am more than happy to drive the extra 15 minutes to go to Margo's to get good service and food

Don't waste your Money or Time because I already did it for you. $5 for a Chicago dog isn't bad but it took 30min with 1 order ahead of mine and EVERYTHING was blan, smashed, and overall just didn't look appealing. I really can't believe this place has actual Vienna Beef products due to the severe lack of flavor. Overall I can say I've wasted my lunch and money here and you will too!!! I'm reporting if I get sick which from this weird taste I probably will. I'M NOT EVEN GOING TO MENTION THE CUSTOMER SERVICE.
