The high rated reviews for this restaurant need to be taken down a size, as the service is slow (food is still decent), but when you and your guests are waiting several minutes to even get a drink order taken (even when there's not many people around), the new owner needs to take notice and improve!

Sushi Ato was delicious. First time we went we had hamachi maki (yellowtail), seaweed salad, and albacore nigiri. We ordered seconds of the nigiri, it was fantastic and tasted very fresh. It is kind of hard to get a waiters attention, and they bolt away from the table so quickly I wasn't able to get everything to order (or reorder) in one go.Second time we went, it was a little bit crazy (we found out their receipt machine wasn't working well so chefs were not getting orders). The waitress we got kept asking us how many of things we wanted (miso, waters, soy sauce bowls, plates) but never seemed to pick up that we wanted them for the table. She was also non-existent after taking out first orders (we chalked it up to the problem with the receipts). There was definitely a longer wait then the first time, but no loss in quality. We had albacore nigiri again, the Everest roll (really good), spicy tuna rolls, and California rolls. Kids got to share a giant bowl of ramen, which was tasty.

Sushi in Colorado generally is not great. Sushi Ato is routinely good.

GREAT sushi...one of my favorites in the Colorado Springs area. It's usually really busy, even when I've tried to get early (5:00) dinner. The only negative is that there are no booths, so it's a bit noisy and not the best for a romantic date night.

Come here a lot, it's one of my family's favorite places. Beef fried rice is a must.

We wanted to try and new sushi spot and this one was VERY good :). The sushi was very fresh and it didn’t take too long to have your food brought to you.It did take a while for the waitress to get to the table (about 10 minutes & it wasn’t too busy) after getting there but otherwise everything was pretty prompt. We went on Friday night and we were quickly seated (score!).

Ato did not live up to the hype. The sushi was pasty and lacked flavor. The sushi was caked with roe which we had to remove. The salad and edamame was on par. It was not overly busy but the wait staff visits to the table were sparse, so drinks were only refilled once. Nothing stood out about Ato that would make us want to come back, at least for the sushi. Overall, Disappointed.

My favorite sushi restaurant. My wife is not into seafood but she tried their salmon. Thankfully she enjoyed it so much she is again willing to eat salmon! Atmosphere and view is wonderful.

Love coming here for special occasions because the staff and the sushi chefs are always on their "A Game," and we love them for what they do. Volcano and Dragon rolls are hands down our top favorites! Bring all your friends for some of the best sushi, which from or experiences and travels is saying a lot.

Didn't care for the look of the sushi so I went with a chicken katsu curry plate. The chicken was good, rice was...rice....the curry and veg was average for USA. Not on par with even a tourist trap in Japan but decent try for sure.

Food quality is some of the best. Server was attentive but the kitchen and management need to figure out their process. Plates all came out at different times, rolls took much longer than hot, nigiri came out even later.Dinner was loud: 2 tvs plus music playing. For these prices ($25 for 1 roll?) They can do better.
