I ordered a cake from here for my daughter's bday and it was Delicious! So much so that I again ordered another cake from here for my grandma. Now the first cake was lovely and delicious.. The 2nd was even more so.. Plus it was diabetic friendly which made my grandma happy as she and a lot of friends are diabetic.. My daughter and I enjoyed the cake as well!! Def gonna order more cakes from here for other occasions!! In fact I'm planning a quinceanera and will be ordering from here for that to.

I would like to preface this review by stating that I was given a 20% refund for the issues that arose.I contacted SweetThings on June 23rd for a round chocolate cake to serve 8 people. I had such a hard time locating a cake and I needed it on the 27th. I was told there would be a rush fee of $25 which seemed pricey, but I understood. The cake was supposed to be red with black polka dots and I was told there would be a "royal icing transfer" of ladybug and cat noire which was my daughters new thing. I agreed to the terms and paid in full for the cake prior to picking it up.I stated I would be picking up the cake around 10:30 am on Sat morning. Things got weird on Saturday. I texted to see when the cake would be ready and got a response that the "finishing touches" were being put on and it would be ready at 10:30. I sent my husband on a few errands and he stopped to get the cake about 11:15. Prior to this I received a message asking where I was and informing me I had made her late for deliveries that I was not ever made aware of. If I had known this I would have been more timely.When my husband got home and I saw the cake I was truly shocked. The cake had no fondant, other than the characters,, the decorations were inconsistent and sloppy, and the character work was atrocious. I asked my husband why he accepted the cake which he basically responded he didn't want to be rude. That was his bad.Eventually after cooling down for a few hours, I contacted SweetThings and asked how she felt comfortable presenting me with this cake. After blaming humidity, my short notice (not ordering a month in advance), and waiting too long to contact her after receiving the cake, she offered a $20 refund.I'm not sure of the quality of any of the other SweetThings, but I would not recommend for cakes or character work. Customer service also needs improving.
