Very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful staff. Was looking for a local espresso blend for a Christmas gift and am very pleased to have found Switchback!
The coffee tastes very good. The shop is cute. I like it here.

Used to love coming here for breakfast - but recently it feels like the food prices are staying the same (or increasing) and the portion sizes are getting smaller. Today, I paid $16 for a to-go breakfast sandwich (with tip) - when I opened the to-go container, I had half a sandwich. The sandwich was good, just disappointed that after going out and paying that much, I'm still hungry.
Lovely place and great coffee.

Coffee was pretty good, service was great and the staff was super friendly but the food was not great. We picked this shop as it is seed oil free, which is a huge factor for us, but the food itself was meh. Eggs, bacon and sausage had way too much pepper, summer salad was mostly just a big plate of greens and the grilled cheese with aioli had a lot of potential but wasn’t hitting either. Would still try it again, but would not reorder the same food.
Dietary restrictions: Seed oil free with vegan and gf options

As far as a simple cup of coffee is concerned, this is my favorite coffee in town! Such great flavor! They also have amazing scones!! Coconut chocolate chip and raspberry mint have been my favorite recently. Great atmosphere, and staff has always been kind and courteous everytime I’ve been here.

Cutest little coffee shop! Came here with one of my girlfriends to catch up and we had a great experience. Both ordered the special and enjoyed. Service was great, the two ladies working were so sweet. Do wish they had more syrup variety as flavors are a tad limited but great nonetheless.
I bought a bag of Ethiopian Anderacha after I met one of the roasters at a Bike to Work event. This is extremely high quality coffee and worth the price. The shop has a great vibe and the staff are very helpful. They had donated coffee for the Bike to Work event, so that makes this a local business we should all be happy to support!

I understand going for the indoor give, but there is a line between atmospheric and run down. Tables have missing parts and broken legs. The wood benches outside haven't been sealed and are wet if it has rained in the last day.The straight espresso was exceptionally bitter, which is not my personal taste. I think they try to account for this by adding extra milk, but then our drinks were just milk drinks and did not have any coffee taste. In two visits, we got: Cortado, espresso, 12 oz iced latte, 16 oz iced vanilla latte. The latest came in two different sizes- normally iced drinks are in one cup size larger to account for the ice. One day the cup was sized up, the next it was not.The cinnamon muffin was fantastic. The lemon poppy scone was bland.

Good but the sad part is is a depressing city. Nice place but unfortunately when you walk out side you’re still in Springs. The town seems to have anyone colored
This place is a total vibe. Their coffee art is on point every time I visit. Breakfast sandwich is definitely worth trying too! They seem to alway be super busy and you might not get a seat. ? However Switchback is a 10/10 for me!
