Cool atmosphere, good food, and very authentic salsa. I lived in Mexico City for a few years and you can tell they are making their salsa with fresh ingredients from scratch. Good selection of tacos and diversity of flavors as well!

Happy hour is great! The drinks are well made and balanced. The happy hour nachos are $5 and they load it up! The queso on the nachos is great. I had the Fire and Ice marg made with house cucumber and jalapeño tequila - excellent. We did wait a bit longer than I’d expect after being seated but otherwise service was great and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience.

Fantastic spot on Tejon St! Came here for dinner and a drink, and it was excellent. Had a Bomb-Pop and Sangria Swirl to drink, both were great. Can't remember which tacos I had, but they both were excellent. My bartender made sure to check on me regularly, and the vibe of the place was awesome. As a solo traveler, this was a fun place to visit and actually ended up meeting a couple other travelers to hang out with for the evening!

DONT GO! I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but our experience at T-Byrds was frustrating enough to warrant one. Our waiter only came by a couple times throughout the entire meal, even though we could clearly see him sitting and chatting with friends on another table. It felt like we were being ignored entirely.
As if that wasn’t that enough when we checked our bank statement later, we discovered the restaurant had charged our card TWICE with the wrong amounts. They added tip we did NOT authorize. This is completely unacceptable and feels dishonest. We expected better from a place with so many positive reviews but with horrible service and sketchy billing practices we WON’T be coming back and strongly advise others to NOT go.

Server decided to add an extra tip to my bill which is completely uncalled for and completely wrong. I didn’t see until it’s posted onto my account. Make sure you check your statement after going here since they wanna steal from customers.

One of THE WORST dinner experiences I’ve ever had. I’m not from here, and decided to try because I really enjoyed the surrounding restaurants. The tacos are bad. The bartenders are extremely negligent. It took over an hour to get our food, and when it came out, it was cold and flavorless. Will never go back.

I would consider this one of the poorer experiences I've had at a restaurant in a long time. The service and food left a lot to be desired

Quaint, friendly and good carne asada tacos!

I’m Mexican American, had a party of 3 there were two patio tables open , we waited to be seated for a while and they didn’t want to seat us on the patio area . The waiter said whatever just go ahead and then we received no menus or any service. Sat there for 15 minutes, a larger party that arrived later than us was seated and served immediately. Felt very discriminatory which is ridiculous considering it’s a Mexican restaurant. Trash. Go here if you want to throw away your money for mediocrity. We ended up leaving and got wayyyy better service at Jose Muldoons next door .

Awesome location. Ate outside. Amazing food. Got the fried Avocado, mushroom and fish tacos. Elote, chips and queso were great. They make great Salsa. A big deal for anyplace. Gotta have the basics down. The service was amazing Erin the host treated us like she had know us for ever. Came to check on us often and took care of us well. Thought she was our waitress at first actually. Then our waitress Amber showed up and was also awesome. She took good care of us and had some pleasant conversation.

Between the two we got music recommendations, insights on some local shops, and an overall amazing experience.

This was a fun little place. I just happened to be walking by and just happened to be hungry, so I enjoyed it! I enjoyed sitting out on the sidewalk under the umbrella.

This is one of my favorite places to get tacos downtown! I love the food and the atmosphere. I had such a great experience this past weekend. The chef that was there that night was an absolute sweetheart! My drink and food were amazing! It can be a bit on the pricey side though. I would highly recommend the chocolate gluten free cake! It really shocked me how good it was! The Sopapillas were delicious!!! I love cheese so the queso was a must for me and was perfect! I got the Pineapple Express taco which was good but will probably try someone else next time. My sangria swirl was just the right touch of everything! Would highly recommend checking them out!
