I have never left a negative review for any business, but I have to get this off my chest. T-Byrd’s used to be my absolute favorite taco establishment in Colorado Springs, that has now all changed. Tonight my husband and I went for our regular taco and margarita date night, and were extremely disappointed with the thimble size $12 margs, thumb size fish in my $6 tacos, and a huge piece of cartilage in his $16 chicken quesadilla. It was way overpriced and the quality of food does not justify it. I’m still hungry, have no buzz, and spent $60. I’m tired of establishments taking advantage of people.

Arrived and sat myself at an unbussed table outside. 10 mins later server came out and ignored me. Change to a table closer that was clean. Ignored. Left after 25 mins. On a Saturday afternoon folks food and beer are your bread and butter.

Great new atmosphere BUT ......Cold food and slower service than the old location. Every time I go down to C. Springs from Denver I go to T-Byrds. I always start with chips and queso and have fish tacos and elote. Well tonight, my first visit at the new location, was not good. Do you know that feeling you get when you know the food is taking to long? That happened tonight and when it finally arrived (all together although I asked for the queso as an appetizer),the food was room temperature, except for my sister's quesadilla. By the time the server finally asked us how everything was, we were almost finished eating. The flavor was still good but the coldness of the food took away from the enjoyment. The server offered to have the food remade but it was too late. She did comp the queso which we only had 2 bites of. It was pretty bad served cold and I used to love it. I can tell you with 99 percent certainty that our food sat in the kitchen after being prepared for quite a long time before it was delivered. That is why it was so cold. The servers were so far away from the kitchen, and hanging out in the bar area (we were the furthest from the bar you can get), I think that they forgot to check on our orders. Also I'm pretty sure they had shots with 2-3 people sitting at the bar. Nothing wrong with that I'm all about it, but you need to remember that people are waiting on their food. Next time I'm in town I won't be going back to T-Birds. It's time for a new restaurant that can actually serve hot food like the old T-Birds did so well at the old location. Good luck in your new location T-Birds, you are going to need it!

Great aux. The service was a little slow but still attentative. The food, however, was sub-par. I got the avocado taco and expected at least a quarter of an avocado. It seems like I got only 1 slice. Very underwhelming.Vegetarian options: Not very good.-18 year vegetarian

The dynamite shrimp taco and chili lime shrimp tacos were really really good. The queso was fantastic and the cocktails were unique but seemed a little on the pricey side for what seemed like light pours but maybe that's just me! Service was friendly and attentive. Overall everything was pretty dang good.

To expensive and the bartender and others were covertly rude.

I went in to have a margarita and planned to order food. Initially I ordered one of the signature margaritas but right after I noticed the happy hour margarita special so before the bartender even made it I asked if I could get that instead. She didn’t seem thrilled but I shrugged it off. Then… my drink comes. She put it in the same glass as their small water glass, packed it as tight as possible with ice and the drink was a little over 3/4 full. I asked her if that’s their usual size for a house margarita and she said it’s 2 oz!! I asked her in case I heard her wrong and she said again that it’s 2oz!!!! Wow….. I said no thank you and left! I do feel this was a personal issue and not how they serve house margaritas, but until they get rid of her I won’t come back.

My boyfriend and I came in on Valentine’s Day, there was no wait and there was about 4 tables there when we arrived. We waited awhile for menus and water, then waited quite awhile longer to actually order. Our food and drinks again took awhile to come out. At this point when the queso came out and was lukewarm and very thick not how it used to be. By the end it took so long for them to come back we walked to the front to pay. Hoping I caught them on a bad night. Big letdown from previous experiences.UpdateWe brought home our leftovers thinking it might be better hotter. The fish was very oily and bland and the shrimp on the other hand was salty and dry. The barbacoa was bland and almost mushy.

It was delicious. Admittedly, it wasn’t this year, but I still would really enjoy going back there. The Sangria Swirls were out of this world! What am I kidding? Everything I ate was so dang delicious and I remember having decent service too! I would definitely go back if I get the chance. The sooner the better!

Best nachos in town! Service and ownership are top notch. Not many owners are as approachable as here at Tbyrds. Going back for breakfast next door. ?

I mean the tacos tated good. Staff was pleasant. But the Tacos Barely had any meat on them, one of them actually had no meat, I ordered chicken. The tacos are smaller than your hand. Significantly over priced for what you get, and I mean these aren't even ravable tacos either. I would not recommend this place to anyone. You literally feel like someone stole something from you by eating at this place. Do not go here for food.

As usual, the food was fantastic. However, with only two other small parties (2 and 4 ppl) ahead of us, and two staff working the kitchen, we still waited 35 minutes for our food (one bowl, one quesadilla, one plate of nachos). Service was lackluster at best, and the music was much too loud.

Place is filthy. Food was horrendous. Chicken tacos tasted like fish. Ruined Taco shops for me. Jail food is better I promise. Go to Taco Bell and save yourself from vomiting in your mouth trying to stomach this God awful attempt at
