Kava Works Bar • $
6820 N Academy Blvd, Colorado Springs

“Great prices, great variety, really friendly bar tender, and very chill vibes. Very impressed overall. Only reason why I switched over to a different one is i stopped drinking kava since it's not great on the liver and switched over to kombucha, and these guys don't reliably have kombucha available. But I mean, not really a requirement considering it's a kava bar, so won't fault them for that.“

“Their Tiger Brûlée is amazing. The salted cream cheese foam cuts the sweetness of the boba and tea. They actually brûlée the top of the drink which makes fun to break through the top and get that first bit of crunchy sugar. Boba is normally cooked perfectly. My only gripe with this place is the cost of one drink will run you over 10 bucks with a tip. It's also hard to figure what is safe for vegans and vegetarians as things are not clearly labeled and good luck figuring out the nutritional info for what you are drinking.“
