I booked this hotel online. Pool is closed, website said nothing about it. Went to get my kids some breakfast in the morning and the front desk informed me the kitchen staff did not show up. Needed sheets for the extra bed and the front desk handed us a ball of unfolded sheets. Ice machine was broke. Stayed during a snowstorm no one shoveled the sidewalks. I can go on forever, for a Marriotts standards this place is terrible. Do not waste your money. A couple blocks away by old Chicago there is a Marriott that would gladly have you with friendly staff.

We stayed at the marriot courtyard and it was terrible. First off it's under construction so when we got here my son had to use the restroom and there's no public restroom because of the construction. There is plastic all over the floors. The check in process was fine but no digital key which is pretty antiquated in my opinion. So you have to check in and out physically. The room is mid. Like it's not terrible but it's okay. Except the bed. But you don't walk in thinking wow this is nice. I couldn't sleep because the bed is too soft and can't control the temperature in the room. It was so hot and we were trying to cool it down. Worst night of sleep ever. Then they charge $10/night for parking. Like just put that in the room rate. It's not like the parking is all that special and not like we're downtown. Then they charge for breakfast and it's like $12 for a bowl of oatmeal. No thanks we're going to IHOP. The coffee in the room is terrible and no complimentary coffee in the lobby. Instead you can buy Starbucks coffee for $5/cup. They also had apples for $2 each. My $5 coffee was neither hot nor full. Finally I got the non refundable rate. We decided to check out a day early because I couldn't handle another sleepless night and we wanted to miss driving in the snow the next morning. I was prepared to just pay for the second night and eat that cost. But then they charged an additional $127 for early checkout!!!!!!!! Absolutely ridiculous. Also the lady at the desk was super excited and said oh I got you a room with a courtyard view. It's a view of the parking lot behind us. . I did voice my concerns to the lady at checkout who was very graceful in listening to me complain and apologized. She refunded the $10 parking fee. ‍ Won't stay here again and will look for Hilton properties in the future. Side note the location was good and the Aspen grill Nextdoor was amazing. IHOP was close by and no wait on a Saturday morning.

Marriott brand properties are usually pretty consistent, but avoid this one! You'd be better off at a Motel 6! 1. It took a long time to check in as the receptionist was "on loan". 2. There is no access to printing at this supposedly business-oriented hotel. There's no printer available for guest use. They refuse to receive and print a brief email. They cant print from a USB-C drive. They refuse to enable the boarding pass printer to print documents. 3. The door lock to my room repeatedly malfunctioned, so I had to get a new key three times in a 2-day stay. 4. The breakfast costs extra, but cannot be charged to the room. You must pay separately at breakfast counter. To add insult, the disgusting $14 "avocado toast" contained only trace amounts of avocado on a bed of dried-out kale and overcooked hard boiled eggs with black rings (see photo). 5. There's no maid service mid stay. Saving on detergent as well as on toner? Yikes! Stay away!

I arrived at Courtyard Colorado late on a Sunday night, exhausted from a long flight. My first impression was nothing short of exceptional, thanks to the outstanding service provided by the front desk officer, Christopher Maldonado. From the moment I stepped into the hotel lobby, I was greeted with a warm and friendly smile from Christopher. His professionalism and attentiveness immediately put me at ease after a tiring journey. It's the little things that make a big difference, and Christopher's assistance was a shining example of that. Not only did he efficiently handle my check-in process, but he also went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. He provided valuable information about the hotel's amenities and BonVoy advantages.

I reserved a hotel for July 16 back in May bc I had to go there for a business trip. Was told yesterday I no longer needed to go so I called to get, not a refund, but a credit so I could spend the 732 at another Marriott at another time. Was told the local one don't do it and was given a 1-800 number to call, which said I had to call the local number, called again only to be told to call the 1-800 number again only to be told to call the local number. I'm getting very upset because I am getting the run around and it sucks bc I loved Marriott and only stayed at these hotels. I understand not being able to get a refund. All I'm asking for is a credit no one seems to want to help me with

Our stay here in May 2023 was excellent! The lobby appears to be remodeled making everything seem very clean, up to date, and modern. The rooms are clean, the housekeeping services were extremely prompt and helpful, and the front desk is very respectful.

I typically only write reviews for excellent service but this experience was exceptionally terrible and therefor warrants an honest review as a warning for other potential guests. I stayed at The Courtyard Merritt for three days in April 2023 while visiting my son stationed at Fort Carson. My younger son was traveling with me and requested a hotel with a pool so I was happy to find a hotel with a pool located close to Base. We got the to the hotel at 3:30pm, after a day of traveling the only thing I wanted was to get checked in and take a shower. When I tried to check in I was told no rooms were available until the 4pm check in. We waited in the parking lot for 30 minutes (no seating available in the hotel) then returned to check in. At that point the lobby was full of guests waiting to check in, the hotel software was down leaving us all standing there for over half an hour with no seating, the suffocating odor of paint, drywall and joint compound heavy and humid. One of the other guests asked about the smell and we were told as a group that there was some sort of electrical fire 2 weeks ago and the hotel was still under construction. After we were finally checked in we were informed the pool was out of service due to the fire. Ugh, I wish they would have let us know beforehand but fine, frustrating, but fine. The wait time for the elevator was excessive (seriously ridiculous) and the ride to the second floor was far longer than it should have taken to go up one floor. The elevator started before the door was closed which was very dizzying. Again, the excruciatingly slow elevator ride and the safety hazard of a door was forgivable. Finally we made it to the room and unpacked. I turned on the water for my long awaited shower but the water never got hot or even warm. I rode that damn slow elevator back down to the lobby to ask for a room with warm water. I was then personally sent to room after room to check for a room with hot water. Why not take the stairs you may ask, I would have been thrilled to take the stairs if I could have found them. There was no emergency exit or stair signage that I could find so I was stuck waiting for that elevator down to the lobby to get the next room key then back up to try the next room, over and over. Finally I gave up on a shower. I should note that they were aware of the hot water issue and blamed the recent fire. I then went back to the original room where we were unpacked but the keycard didn't work so I had to go back to the lobby to have the card reactivated. No problem if it was just that one time but it turned out that the cards were basically one use and needed to be reactivated every time they were used. I asked about this and again, it was a known issue and blamed on the fire. To avoid the multiple elevator rides we started having our cards reactivated every time we left the room. This mostly worked except when the cards needed to be replaced and a new one issued. Up to the room, back down to wait in line for a new card, back up to the room. Consistantly. For two days we bathed ourselves using washcloths and cold water from the sink. On the morning we were leaving the shower finally was warm but when we showered there was standing water in the tub. This is icky when it's your own shower but pretty gross when you're trying to shower in strangers backed up waste water. Given the option, I would have left prior to check in as soon as I knew the pool wasn't available, unfortunately, the hotel wouldn't allow this option without incurring cancellation fees. I will say MOST of the staff was friendly and apologetic for the condition of the hotel. The hotel was very understaffed so when they were out for a smoke break you were left waiting in the lobby to get your key reactivated until they were done with their break. When I left I asked to speak to the manager about my concerns. I explained that I felt it wasn't fair to pay full hotel prices for a hotel that was clearly not ready to reopen the doors. The manager said it was not her choice to reopen the h

Clean rooms, friendly staff. They have a bistro for in the AM. Lobby is spacious and bright. Nestled in a quiet area not far from downtown. Only complaint, when staying on the bottom floor, you hear every step of the the people above.

First off the staff here goes above and beyond! PACO B is the most helpful, friendly, lovely GM I have likely ever interacted with in all my travels! Went above and beyond! Stevie, DJ, the whole staff really made my stay wonderful. Clean, comfy, great sized rooms! Couldn't recommend this hotel more!

Staying in the hotel and wanted to grab a quick breakfast. The gentleman and lady working behind the counter were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and served us a beautiful breakfast ? (even adding some homemade hot sauce for us, which was outstanding!). Kudos to these wonderful folks. I highly recommend the breakfast, especially if you’re staying in the hotel.

Paco was the best front desk employee I've ever met...the room was comfortable. The location was convenient to everything we needed to get to. Awesome!

Staying at the hotel, and grabbed two containers of cereal and milk. $12?. Take this for what it's worth?

The hotel is dog friendly, but we had no idea the special treatment we were in for!!! DJ, the bartender, made sure we had full drinks and even cooked a little plate of chicken for our pup!!! We had come in to the bar for a drink after a long day of driving from Texas, and ended up closing the bar with DJ because he was such a treat to talk to and hang out with. Our room was also very clean, despite the construction going on at the hotel. On our return drive, we decided to stay here again on the off chance that DJ was working again. SCORE! We had another great night and great stay!!! Highly recommend, and even had a great breakfast from chef Tony to send us out with. The hotel has had some construction and staffing issues, but the employees we have met have been BEYOND amazing!

Very good food, nice place to hang out and chill. The water is very fresh, so is the food. If you are ever in the area, I would definitely recommend stopping in. Make sure you tell your friends and family about it, especially during the pandemic, every place can use some good PR.
