The Boil Daddy - Colorado Springs

i have been never eat like this food in my life. its so delicious and food also comes fast. keep going on .

We just ate at The Boil Daddy this evening. It was very good! We had snow crab, mussels, shrimp and a side of rice. We loved the Daddy’s sauce medium spicy (which has a good kick to it). Our waiter was very attentive and nice. We will be back!

I wanted to love this restaurant. Seafood isn't the most common cuisine in this city. Everything was cooked well, but they use their house seasoning on everything, in such large quantities, that the garlic taste was so heavy that it almost burned.

I really wanted to like this place.
Food: was OK, but I have never been to a boil place that makes you order lobster or crab legs in order to get the corn, potatoes, etc. that normally comes with a boil. We ordered shrimp and mussels, a pound each and not worth $44.
Service was about the worst ever. Only 3 tables in the place at 6pm with 2 servers. She dropped off our food and never came back. Finally had to walk up to the registers to have someone else cash us out. No one ever stopped by to see how our food was or if we needed anything.
Atmosphere: went in for a date night - the lights were so bright. I felt like I was on stage with a spotlight in my eyes!
Sad cause it’s right down the street, but we won’t be back.

The food was good and came out pretty quickly. Our server was very nice and attentive. With that being said I want to let any other Louisiana folks know that this is in no way shape or form CAJUN style food At. All. Like I said the food is good regardless but if you’re expecting Cajun style boiled seafood you will be hugely disappointed.

I don't know how this is Cajun food or even close to boil seafood. The atmosphere was terrible, playing R&B in a creole place. Nothing called out saying this is Cajun. There should have been something playingnonnthe tv that represents Cajun boil cooking.
The Daddy's fries had bj o flavor to them. We ordered shrimp, mussles , corn and potatoe boil. I have cooked boils many times and never a thick sauce on my boil. Everything was overcooked. The crab cakes also had no flavor to them.
The OMG sauce wasn't even close to being spicey.

Biggest turnoff at this location was the music and lack of service.
